Breakfast is my favorite food, anytime, morning, noon or night. Big breakfast, granola and yogurt, oatmeal or baked oatmeal, cereal. Love it all. But Big Breakfast is my fav. Pancakes or French toast, bacon or sausages, maybe grits or hashbrowns or home style potatoes, and some form of eggs and coffee and orange juice. 🤤
Don't call it a pancake. Does not even look like one. Call it 'Scrambled Mess". No, it's NOT cool. Let's call Easter eggs, boiled eggs. 'Come on kids let's go boiled egg hunting'.
I would want to eat one of my grandmas frosted brownies. They are nothing crazy and honestly made from a box, but made with grandmas love and special touches. Nothing beats it!!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re all about sharing and inspiring through baking, and it means the world to hear that our recipes and community efforts are making a difference!
Thank you for your question! Fruit purees as a sugar substitute would work best in treats that have denser texture, like muffins, bars and cookies. The best fruit to try for this are bananas, applesauce or dates. Sugar not only contributes a neutral sweetness, but also tenderness, moisture, binding and browning. All fruit will impart some flavor so it’s best to pick the fruit that will go best flavor-wise with what you are trying to bake. Since fruit purees add liquid to recipes, we suggest substituting no more than half of the sugar with a fruit puree to start and check your results!

Hey - Gemma! 🤣🤣 I live in an apartment with a VERY old stove. When I moved in, I took my cleaning supplies over to give it a wipe down, and ensure it was really clean. Imagine my surprise when the "pull-out" drawer was ACTUALLY a drop down door, behind which is the GLASS fuse panel. 😱 It's been 20+ years and I'm STILL traumatized! 😂
Wow, that must have been quite a surprise! Old stoves can definitely have some unexpected features. I can understand why you're still thinking about it 20 years later!
If u need softened butter & don't have a microwave, put your butter on plate or counter & place a hot bowl over top of it for 5-10 min. U can heat the glass bowl up w/really hot water. You may have to heat the bowl up a few times OR using a heating pad (on low) over top of the bowl. It won't melt it, but it will soften it in a pinch. My grandmother used to to do it before microwaves were a thing.❤
