I wonder what Tchaikovsky was smoking when he decided to write this in A-flat minor instead of G-sharp minor, especially considering he modulates to B major for all of four bars 🤣
Thank you for uploading this. The only other one that includes the sheets has crappy audio that I just can't get used to, even if it's Rachmaninoff himself playing.
I think that piano rolls should be the standard in recording, because, as recording tech advances, you can always record the piano roll with the newest technology, thus always making it sound modern.
