As some who just started 40K and has the ultimate starter set, and a Necron combat patrol I painted in a paint scheme about the Nightbringer, I love the emerald look of their armor.
I enjoyed this and think you managed to get over to me how to do this whereas I have struggled to grasp it with others showing the same technique. 👏👏Subbed.👍👍
I really want to thank you for telling us what size brushes you used. I'm trying to figure out which ones I need to buy, and seeing this video helps a lot. Wish more videos showed this
Yeah being a Librarian they wear blue armour and generally show the chapter colour on one or both shoulder pads. Plus a few blood drop symbols around the mini too.
Definitely inspired to enter next time. So, looking forward to using your experience! Even a pin would be a huge deal for me but i don't expect that either haha
Yeah definitely enter. Even just seeing the other entries and talking to all the other painters really helps. And even if you don't get a pin then each year keep trying and eventually you'll get there.
For me I just water them down quite a bit so it's about 80% water to 20% paint, sometimes even more water. I don't currently have any tutorial videos on it yet but there are plenty on RU-vid.
It's just a different technique to get paint on the models. It's quite a quick way to paint so can help people smash out an army quickly if they wanted to.
Thank you again. I have painted different coloured ones in the past but I don't have any pictures of them. I could do a video about different coloured Squigs in the future though.
@@rickysrealmofcolour That would be great, I'd like to watch to see if you have an inspirational techniques or differences in the way I paint squigs in my Ork army.
RU-vid is full of half-ass painters. But really - you are the man! My biggest find of treasure-kind artist for a long time. I'm grateful for all your videos, hope more of my friends would see how awesome you are :D Best wishes from Ukraine and fellow goblin player!
Wow thank you so much for your kind words. You've really made my day and I will continue to make my videos better and better. And yes please spread the word of my videos, I would love to reach more people and hopefully they will enjoy my videos too. You are the man for being so kind and I hope you stay well.
Space Marine Librarians generally wear blue to show they are part of the Librarius and then wear their chapter colours on one or two of their shoulder pads. This also helps add some extra colour and variation to your armies 😃
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like them. I haven't actually finished that one yet, the last three are half painted. Keep an eye out on my channel, I will show them off once they are finished.
