Quite the opposite :) We created a bunch of control hardware for lighting/monitoring/displaying things and all that needed firmware to run. We also created quite a few tools to integrate Rivendell (our automation system) and vMix (backend for visualradio) into this studio. Those tools enabled features like auto-follow/cut to the camera which shows the host/guest which is currently speaking or automatic transitions/overlays for music videos and normal songs played with Rivendell. Another program "OnAirScreen" (github.com/saschaludwig/OnAirScreen) is available as opensource and displays current time and mic/phone status and other stuff. @@clemradio That was a test installation of Audisi GML, a Dutch product which we distribute here in Germany. But we still use Rivendell next to it. Love both.
