AsSalamalaikum (peace be unto you). Is anyone watching this in 2024? There is so much going on in the world. May Allah grant patience to those being persecuted all over the world.
This RU-vid below is about some of the children 10yr can memorize the whole Qur'an......this itself is like a great miracle of the Qur'an ! At least normal people like us if can understand most of the thing we read in our pray.......also good for us !
شكرا جزيلا على الوثائقي إستمتعت به جدا... و على كل مشاهد أن يتذكر أننا مسلمون ونحن بشر كدلك ولسنا كاملين لكن الإسلام دين كامل، فإذا أخطأ أحدنا أو كان يتبع الدين بطريقة خاطئة فهو الناقص وليس الإسلام. if we mistake it's because we are not a perfect muslims but islam is the perfect religion
Ya Allaah , rectify our affairs and bless us with the memorization and understanding of Quraan and everything related to it, and enrich us from your endless bounty to be able to carry it and teach it effortlessly . Al hamdulillaah. Aamiin❤
This is one of my favorite documentaries and one that opened my mind and heart to understand Islam...I think it should be required watching for students in school in the US.
Tabarak'allah the one true miracle of islam. The Quran is a universal message without boundaries. May allah S.w.t. soften our hearts and unite humanity with the peaceful message of Allah s.w.t.
Beautiful documentary. The judges display arrogance to say the least. Not kindness to children who don't speak Arabic, yet memorize the Word of Allahﷻ. They must fear the One whose Word it is before treating those who preserve it, in this way.
Beautiful documentary Alhamdulilah I’m inspired. However ,l wish the judges where more kind and understanding towards the non-arabic speaking competitors … i felt so
the juge,s were so mean to Djamil poor boy but allah says that if we be sobmean and rude to muslim,s they will get very bad punishment. they read puran very good.
Excellent documentary. Amazing how those children and teens could memorize Quran, mostly the non-Arabic speakers. But I was sad about Rifdha's situation. Her father should reflect about his ideas regarding her future. If men and women are equals, Rifdha should have the right to become what she wants, she should have the right to pursue her dreams, mostly because she wants to be educated and have a profession, a career. That's very dignifying.
She actually continued to receive both her religious and academic studies in the Maldives so her father didn't only make her study the Quran or reflect his 'ideas' on her.
Bro in Islam men and women are equal in the sight of God except by righteousness, however they are different as they have different rights and responsibilities so dont take western take on it when Muslims say that.
My only two criticism are: First for such a big competition, there should be people there to help the reciters. Not everyone knows Arabic. A translator should be helpful. And the other is Rifdah’s father, his views is not right, his préception on Islam is strange…
I wont judge Rifdahs father, Allah showed him the path guided him back to Islam. But he needs to open his mind more First female to accept islam Khadijah (RA) was businesswoman first University was established by a Muslim women scholar. After marriage he can't decide for her its upto his husband. May Allah (swt) bless and guide Rifdahs family. Nabiollah Recitation was so good I cried, Djamil presevered during recitation he may get lower number but Allah gave him dobule reward inshaAllah for his strugle. May Allah (swt) grant all of us to learn Quran, May Allah (swt) grant all of them and elevate their rank in Jannah. Ameen
When Rifdah's father said "She will be a housewife" it broke my heart... I really hope Rifdah get to do what she likes in the future like what her mom said...
I am watching this movie for my intro to Islam class. Very interesting documentary, and it is good to learn about all of those in the Muslim world that are alert against the surge of fundamentalist Islam.
@younes achak if you watch the documentary, there is the part where the Egyptian minstry leader warns against the surge of Islam extremism in the world and advises if they went back to the Quran and only focused on what it said, they would not be acting that way.
@younes achak So he's basically saying the so called fundamentalists aren't really going just back to the fundamentals and focusing on the scripture itself but interpreting to their benefit, if they were to actually focus on the scripture they won't do such horrendous acts.
@Kordei - I think they claim to be Islam. I agree that they aren't representative of Islam as a whole, and other muslims like the Egyptian ministry leader in the documentary should not be likened to them.
