I remember watching this fight. Good fight, and I felt sympathy for Hussain. He put up such a brave fight and deserved to go the distance. Yes, he would have lost the decision, but he gave a very gutsy effort.
Buen combate. Que Dios te tenga a si derecha Gary Mason. Te conocí cuando visitastes las Islas Canarias, entrenamos juntos. Eras una gran persona, siempre nos hacías reír. Un abrazo estés donde estés.
Benn was a dirty fighter. He rabbit punches in all of his fights. His rabbit punching caused Gerald McClellan to be crippled for life. What a complete piece of trash Benn is.
You knew from the 1st round with that new wide wobbly stance and the falling on the floortwice in the 2nd Honeyghan was totally shot after the Breland nightmare. After the Starling beating he came back looking rusty and without power verus Marin...but the speed movement skills and combinations were very much there and as the rounds went on his defence and reflexes sharpened. But it was clear the ban on hand jabs meant he could no longer punch with even half his former power. Punch after punch crashed on marin. The weight drain debace before the breland fight killed his legs and chin. He took a horrific frightning beating over 3 rounds in front of a heartless home crowd who turned on him and a sadistic referee and seemingly asleep mickey duff. That defeat finished him. A shame as he was only 29 aftee the marin win and there had to be hopes the starling beating was an off night. Its very rare you see such a power puncher lose his power and a boxer lose his reflexes, legs and chin all at same time. Ive never in 42 years of boxing seen a fighter become finished as quickly as honeyghan
Was gutted when honeyghan lost this fight ! He wobbled starling early and was just trying to overpower him ! Starling defence was to good and won well in the end ! Hear he’s not very well now days ! Bless him
It shows you how good Lloyd was - no fluke against Curry; barring Ray Leonard, Lloyd was the best welterweight of his era. Brutal knockout and power, thankfully, no lasting damage to Hatcher - thanks for uploading
prince hamed is actually proof that pro boxing also needs showmanship besides skill. just skill wont do it if no one wants to pay to see you fight, just like the boring unwatchable style of shakur stevenson.
you can see @ 44:19 vincenzo nardiello actually was slipping when he was attempting to shoot shots and it affecting his ability to sit down on his punches.
He was definitely slipping, the high life got to him and still only 26,we never saw prime Naseem hamed,we saw about 70% of what level he could have gone to
Lloyd Was another uk hype job he could fight but lost to any other big name the curry fight did worse for him soon as in with the other big boys he lost way overhyped.Agree starling was underrated and Mike mc Callum and arron prior they all were.
