You people really don't know what happened to Mersal. Mersal was blockbuster n overflow for distributors. But the greedy distributors didn't settle the overflow to producers. Instead they just send the old accounts of production house which lost huge amount in previous movie distributions. So Thenadal got afraid that these distributors never going to give overflow to the production house for all thier upcoming projects like Sangamithra. That's the reason they stopped producing further movies. Mersal was Hit from them but thier previous production n distribution movies got huge lose n as a result distributors n exhibitors didn't settle the mersal overflow collection to producers. Just send account of previous project lose n told still huge amount pending. So they can't producer further movie until all distributors n exhibitors write off the old lose of that production house
