The scale models companies are renewing their catalog but discontinued models can still be found on second hand shops and e-shops (like eBay). Some models are easy to find, some on the contrary are rare: it took me 38 years to find the 1986 Rover Sterling so no doubt it will take far less time for you to find this Welly ;)
@@yoboi999productions Several possibilities: 1) find decals on eBay or other stores 2) Print them by yourself on paper, cut and glue on the model: I did already that for many models inculding some already reviewed on this channel like the Rover 3500, the Alfa 75, the Ford Fiesta: check out my channel to see the video of those models so you can figure out if you like or not the rendering. 3) Print them by yourself on decal paper: it require to use a laser printer and the result is close from real decals. For white color, you need to buy a white sheet of decal paper and for the decals that don't have white color, the transparent decal paper sheet fits.
También los compro por AliExpress. Hace poco recibí el $51 y ahora estoy en duda si comprar el #50 o esperar al próximo año a que salga uno igual a la libera del 2024 ¿Qué me dices al respecto?
@@mitchrich6 you need to pay attention to the details better. Pause at 2:30min, and start from the front: - front lower bumper on real car is higher in front, - as well as the front bonnet of the car on real one is much longer - windshield on the real model is way more pronounced and more in front vs the model - the side mirrors on real one, comes as close to the door, but on the models its t much in front of the side of the car - DHL on BBurago is missing on the car everywhere, above the nr51 - Michellin logo on the side, on the model floats into the air, but on the real model it runs lower, like its on the ground, near the black stripe carbon part. - above the car, the intake on real car is going over the half of the roof, on the model, its stops rear back of the roof - and there are more offs I have the 1:43 model, and has the same flaws as this one in 1:18 and 1:24 too.
Hi, the RS7 and A7 look very similar but I believe this scale model is an A7 SB and not a RS7 SB because the front bumper is from the A7. The RS7 front bumper is different. The nameplate on the trunk shows A7 45 TFSI and not RS7 and I think Jinlifang is right.
That's a very nice review, I also have the same blue 504 in my collection. Welly did a great job in modelling this one, but there's one thing they got wrong on this model, the turn indicators. The right one was used on 1968-1975 models and the one on the left was used for 1975-1983 Peugeot 504 models. It's like they couldn't decide which one's better LOL.
Thank you for this nice comment. I am not expert enough in Peugeot 504 to answer you about the turn indicators. For a 1980 year model I think they should be clear anyway but for the blue 504 out of box, I trust you :)
Thank you and yes I agree with you: reducing this Mc Laren at scale 1:24 wasn't easy due to the 2 tone color of the body, the doors full of glass parts, the purple flaps on the front, the naked carbon parts: Motormax achieved a great work here!
Someone gave a thumb down but without any message so I don't know if he doesn't like the model or my video or whatever... I was more expecting comments to say "thank you guy for sharing with us this very unknown model" but voila -.-
Basically this is the Charleston and this means the rims are painted in the same color than the body. for the Charleston that fits but Welly released also this model in other colors and they are painted the same way than the charleston ie the wheels have the same color than the body but this is wrong: all 2CV from the 70ies until the end have light grey rims. Of course it can be fix with some paint. Same thing with the seats: as Welly reproduced the Charleston, all other colors have the seats of the Charleston: this is no correct too as only the Charleston has the diamond shapes seats.
I think the reason why they want to add lights and sound for thier models is to stay the traditional collection models. Jinlifang, double horses, chizhi, miniauto etc were good chinese brand but offers 1:22 scales not your usual collection but also for toy gifting.
Hi, The chinese brands like Che Zhi, Double Horses, Jinlifang, XLG, XHD, Proswon, Newao etc... are toys manufacturers. Their models are intended for children. This is why they have plenty of opening parts, light and sound...and a cheap price, generally around €20. Because the level of details and the accuracy of those toys are often very good, they worth entering a collection. Few years back, the lights and sound were very basic but more and more there are swich underneath the chassis so you can turn the lights on w/o the boring simplistic engine noise and to me this is a cool feature. On the top of that chinese brands are offering models ignored by "serious" scale modelcars brands. All in all those chinese toys brands are offering more detailed for a cheaper price than brands like Burago and Maisto. Sometime their models are as good as Welly which is an excellent brand but more and more expensive.
