For reading section I always get low score in my practice tests, like 5/10. I have done more than 20 passages for practice, but still manage to get low score. What can I do about it??
Hello Simran, I recommend understanding each question type in the Reading Section. During the test I recommend skimming the passage to get an idea of the main points before answering questions. Check out this video, I think it could be useful for you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9TzWW8Xclkw.htmlsi=S4xHHk8xmIwQ8eDJ
Thank you for the lesson. The thing I liked the most was that you did everything in real time, without preparing ahead and just talking. This really made this section seem easy to me.
Hi there Ildiko, how are you? I really understand your frustration with the TOEFL test, it does sometimes seem very arbitrary. However, my experience with hundreds of students has shown that learning the test and understanding the patterns therein really will help your scores. Please let me know what questions you have and I'd be happy to help here in the comments section so everyone can learn.
Hello, yes that’s a great analogy! They are pretty similar - but with the academic writing you can also base your question off the opinions of the other students
Hey Lucien 👋 Firstly, thanks for making this video because it contributed deeply to my writing. On top of that i want you to make a video about speaking section specifically on question 4 and present your template ❤❤😊
Hello, thank you for the wonderful feedback! I actually uploaded a full walkthrough video for TOEFL Speaking including templates last week. Check out this link - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cH3rNYrUZNE.html
Hello, thank you for the request. I'm making the Speaking Walkthrough video right and should be ready by Wednesday - for long vids of all other TOEFL sections look for our Walkthrough videos!
Hello, check out our TOEFL Writing playlist which includes detailed walkthroughs on the Integrated Writing task and the Academic Discussion Writing task. Let me know if you have any questions!
For TOEFL listening I would recommend listening to podcasts such as Stuff You Should Know and Freakonomics to get familiar with English dialogue and interesting topics. Hope this answers your question
You're welcome! As a small RU-vid channel I'm also really interested to hear feedback from the audience - what do you think of our videos so far, any things you think I can improve?
@@TestReadyI'll be applying in advanced standing program in dentistry as a foreign trained dentist. For that i need 100+ score in toefl. so if you could make videos on how to score 26+ in each 4 sections of toefl. detailed video on speaking sections with templates and how to generate ideas in 45 seconds in speaking sections. hope your channel grows more 🙏
Thank you for the kind wishes. I am working on a speaking walkthrough with templates at the moment and will make a separate video on how to generate speaking ideas in a short time. When is your TOEFL test?
To really answer that question I'd have to know your current level of English. We haven't spoken much but your written English needs some work so I'd advise you to really study the templates I've given and read articles from British or American sources. Aside from that I also provide private lessons so you can get in touch with me at my email address in the description box if you wish, best of luck.
Hello, such a coincidence you're asking for this video as we're right in the middle of filming it! Should be ready by the end of the week - so follow us and you should receive a notification!
Helloooo, sorry for the delay but the Academic Discussion video is now live! It took a long time because I really wanted to make it a masterclass video!
TOEFL is Test of English as a Foreign Language - it's for international students to prove their English level is adequate for English speaking universities!
