Good video. I compared these two boxes for a month before recently pulling the trigger on the Husky. The Husky has been updated since you purchased yours (mine has a handle on the hood and it didn't have any quality issues). I found the drawers of the Husky much easier to use and also larger. The Husky is 33" wide vs. US General's 30" width. I was back and forth between Home Depot and Harbor Freight comparing them quite a few times. The US General should get an "F" in drawer latch execution (especially compared to the Husky). The slides also aren't as smooth as the Husky's. The plastic latches are far more annoying than I thought it would be and the drawers won't open with the lid closed unless you modify the rear catch. I love Harbor Freight and have a ton of their stuff but this cart needs some updates. Husky has the edge currently on these carts in my opinion.
I went through this hassle on my little Intruder VL250 (the big single muffler). It was an infuriating ordeal. Made to look like an easy 5min job on RU-vid. In the end i cut it off where the 2 pipes lead into 1, then fitted 2 turnout style drag pipes. I still use it now and then, but recently got me a vstar 1100, which i definitely wont be messing with the mufflers on.
WTF did he do to that, chew on it?? Leathermans are not cheap, so I never loan mine out to ANYBODY. It doesn't matter if you own a lot of multi-tools, you worked hard to build a collection. People that don't keep their word are cut off real quick, I don't tolerate that crap. I say let him be a retard to someone else.
I have the front and rear boxes. If you have the plastic racks the pivots don't line up well and will take some pushing and pulling to make them go in the holes. Throw away the J hook and bolt it to the plastic rack. As for latches I've had no problems with mine.
I hate that rock shelf on the west side of the creek bed coming from the southern part of the path closest to the bridge. It's different every time. Last time I though I snagged my transfer case - Nope, but found some aluminum from someone else's there. The path down to the mine is also sketchy - there's that one dip on the south side (on the left going to the mine). I've always felt like I'm going to roll if it keeps getting washed out... last time I didn't risk it.

I realize I am a year late here, but a comparison between that 4 drawer Husky and the US General "4 drawer" equivalent would be a far better comparison.
Thank you for the tip, if it ever happens. However, my issue is with the passenger front door not opening, not the slider. Have you ever had that happen? I have to find out how to remove the door panel with the door closed, more than likely going to have to remove the passenger front seat to get to it, and after that, I don't even know if the panel will come off. The only way to access the latch mechanism is to remove the door panel from the inside. It's going to be fun, and I wish I could find a video of that, but I can't.
Yes. You are Right. Very difficult for one reason i have witnessed personnally for if the Evo is not completely flat, completely leveled, it won't stop going. Very difficult and weird the hand catch with evo lite plus

Thank you for the video! My buddies and I used to hit that trail in the 80’s. I drove a Landcruiser station wagon. I could use low 4, but only had the back wheels turning (hubs were screwed up). Got stuck in a couple of rivers, and in a few ruts. I can’t believe I used to do that as a teenager 🤯
I live out in Catilina. Been riding the Charlotte gap since 1986. I quit riding it. It’s too rough for me now.I ride dirt bikes! That trail is real equipment buster!
It happens lots of times to people in multitool forums. Some do it to spite, scorn, etc. at someone's enthusiasm for such tools. In a world with such people, next time hand them a cheap chinese beater tool you could care less about. The quality of your "friend" is clear, I think you can find better ones with higher values.
Good day guys I have been using this item for over 5 years and close to 12,00 miles without any problems. Super easy to secure my 2016 Polaris RZR 900 Trail on the trailer. I also have the guard dog for use on a pickup truck and had no problems with its use. Both great products.
I just picked up a Powerpint and doing research on mods led me to your video. Has SOG addressed the locking issue that you fixed on your PowerAccess? I haven't tried looking but I would think it would be an easy fix with their manufacturing tooling and could come out with a V2.
