Hello! I teach math at a community college in upstate New York. The videos on this channel were made for some of the classes that I teach, including Arithmetic, Elementary Statistics, Precalculus, and Linear Algebra.
I teach an adult Math class for students preparing for the GED/HiSet tests. Thank you for videos that teach about essential, basic Math concepts, but are not childish in the way they are presented.
Thank you so much for all of your help! I have reviewed several videos from numerous others and I have most definitely found this one to be most helpful out of all!! I'm super surprised that there's not more views/likes!!! So, again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I appreciate the feedback, and I'm sorry about that -- I made this video 5 years ago with a different computer/equipment and I no longer have access to the original files to clean it up. 😞 On the plus side, the captions might help in places when I'm particularly quiet, or if you have specific timestamps you'd like me to clear up, let me know.
Hi ! Your videos are very helpful for me but I have a request can you kindly remove the background sound It is a bit disturbing while understanding the concept Thank you ❤❤
Thanks for the feedback! I don't think I have the original files for this video anymore, so unfortunately I'm not able to remove the background music for this particular video. But I'm hoping to make/remake some more videos this summer, and I'll definitely keep that in mind!
OMG -- what a great comment to wake up to -- I'm glad you enjoyed the video! :) I have several other videos for statistics on my channel, and may or may not be making more soon, depending on whether or not I have time to record them now that my college has gone online due to the coronavirus. I do have plans, though, to start creating and uploading a whole host of videos for arithmetic and prealgebra starting this fall.
The video starts with a quick review of finding a Five Number Summary and using the IQR method to determine outliers. The part about boxplots in particular begins at 7:37.
