Build my own campervan and will be travelling Europe full time from beginning of 2023. I hike across Europa with my german sheperd Kaya. Lets make it clear that I am showing the last part of natural Europa. Lets keep that in good shape if possible. No trash, no off trail, my dog doesnt chase wildlife or I would have put her on a leash. I see lots of damage from people not being carefull.
Before this I lived in house that I owned, did a lot of travelling with backpack (staying in hostels) in Europa but also Canada, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Kenya etc. I also did Couchsurfing, but then with covid and having a dog those options are not realy working out. Converting a van would allow me to keep travelling. So bought a 2005 Renault Master and converted it to a self substaining campervan. Some years later I made the decision to sell the house and live and travel in my campervan. Check out my video's to see how it's going.
Its low season, I like it calm without tourist crowds. But there was a cafe open where I had a cappucio. There were people there. Yes, I liked Cetraro (upper & the part at the sea)
Hmmm I posted where I start in the video (rogars farm at Poldolseva) Walked to the cave where 30.000y/old bear bones were found and the to the top. Olseva is the name of the mountain and shown on the trail You can also start in Austria at St Margarethen (Ep39)
It was called magna Grecia a long time ago. But (Crotone) being the place where Pythagoras set up his school makes it special. But these days its more about the nice beach for most ;)
Hi! The details you capture in your videos really leave me with a feeling of what it is like to be in a Calabrian town and what I miss when I am not there. This is one of my favorites so far. Thanks for sharing your journeys with us!
Thank you! The idea is that I show the places I visit and then you can decide if you like to go there. Without me constantly saying how wonderfull, great, beautifull etc it is. Its clear isnt it?! But Calabria is amazing! :) I loved to visit all places.
What a lovely video! Thanks a lot! Actually, we've never been to Cetraro. I can't explain why it is, considering that we have the whole channel about our life in that area... Is it possible to reach the upper part by foot? How difficult is the walk around the town?
Cetraro upper town is very easy to reach, there is a road that is blocked by landslide (I show this in my video) that is very nice to walk up. I always carry a phone with GPS just in case, with all the small alleys and such it is easy to loose track of where you are, but then, this is also the joy of exploring a new town. It is also possible to drive up and park the car there.
Wy binne yn Lutterzand en it waait hjir in stoarm. Do hast sawol each foar it grutte gehiel as it lytse detail. Groetnis!
Most pelgrims, hikers will stop at Rome (st Paul) but you can walk on to Puglia. "More than 3000 kilometers, from Canterbury to Rome and Santa Maria di Leuca, to walk step by step on mountain paths, mule tracks, rural and secondary roads, cypress-lined dirt roads or among majestic pines." www.viefrancigene.org/en/the-path/
I will remember the dangerous walk outside the city walls and my parking ticket ;) and having cappuchino on the campo square, that was good. The fortezza and Roman gate are also impressive. Good gelato to
ok, you always have the option to mute it. Maybe you like my episode about Gimignano (that video is much better), also a medieval town inTuscany. The music I re-used.
I'll tell you I'm sienese and I don't find the music inappropriate at all. Also, it's 100 times better than the napolitan songs foreigners usually put in their videos about italy, which is basically one of the best ways to piss off locals 😉
You seem to realy appticiate the hard work that goes into designing and making a costume and how hard it must be to wear it in the not ideal conditions (rain, sun, cold)
You can finds lots of cities and towns in Germany with houses like this Quedlinberg, Herrrenberg. Also in France (Elsace region) that used to be German (Strassbourg, Colmar etc) But Dinkelsbuhl is on the famous Romantische strasse
Yndied silent hiking! Kaya rint moai rêstivh mei dy mei mar ús Famke soe alles byelkoar blaffe fanwege dy kowebellen want dêr steurt sy har ôggryslik oan.
Great views there and hiking was great. Not even that much altitude gain so easier then most hikes ;) I would recommand that place and the panorama road, it was some of the best I've seen so far. Its been 10 months now, see you do this for 15 years?! I hope to keep this lifestyle for years to come. Yes with my doggo, she is very happy. Hiking 5 hours a day is good for a german shepard and my health
Thank you, I dont know what I will see, all this is random but seeing wildlife is what I like most. Also check out the Sentinel video (ep11) for more voltures :)
Fantastic adventure and beautiful filming. Great scenery out there and your dog seems to love it (even if it looks very hot), my dog loves to go on long hikes too!
Nice to see the Stenden University hoodie 😊. I'm excited to see the next episode about your travel to the Mediterranean sea. Safe and pleasant journey.
