dude went from being a top notch Arma creator and great dude to play with, to making police rp content now that's truly something to make you want to kill yourself
I mean, i think the AAF is the main culprit of the war and all of the conflict. They did the Coup, several years before; they were the first ones to do war crimes and crimes against humanity. But sure, everyone contributed, and most of all, in Oreokastro. Plus, i totally agree with the "This is War" speech. I always tell people i know that there's no black and white in politics, nor in social conflicts, nor in war (generally speaking).
This DLC is awful. DO NOT BUY IT! The bugs are endless. I have been a fan of Operation Flashpoint and all the ARMA titles and yep they have been buggy, but this is the next level! Just played the All Cats are Grey section of the DLC and it is a joke! I had almost completed this most awful constructed part of the campaign, when it randomly decided to scrub all my save points and revert to the beginning! The AI are eve more messed up than the vanilla ARMA, but this is like pulling teeth without any anaesthesia. Please DO NOT GIVE UP YOUR HARD EARNED DOSH FOR THIS! There are far more constructed free to download scenarios in the Steam Workshop. DO NOT MAKE THESE CROOKS PROSPEROUS FROM THIS HALF ARSED MESS!
I already bought it, the new updates made it better and I only use editor to make scenarios overall I’d say I will love it. Worth the money if you are a editor guy like me or multiplayer but for camping not at all recommended.
You can be sure it's not the fault of the dlc developer. These are all the usual quirks from the main game. In my opinion, this dlc has significantly upgraded Arma 3. The map looks great and the rest of the content too.
I think AAF is most to blame because Csat bombed Oreokastro to clear it from guerillas and the civs was "collateral damage", but AAF shot non-combatants on purpose. But FIA guys did make the people suffer, they made the city a target.
[Calm and melancholy] there were so many missteps.. older can do is still down on our efforts This Is War. [out of nowhere set to 11] I AM FLESH AND I AM BONE DING DING!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my, this mission was something else... Managed to defend the bridge with the other 3 tanks damaged. I just stayed in a nice formation left flank off the bridge and picked off them BTR's and T-55s as they were coming towards the bridge. To get to the bridge I also cut through the center without flanking, so playing aggressively worked out for me.
We all know that heartless Brit MILLER was behind this. MILLER sabotaged the NATO supplies. MILLER was one of the guerillas. MILLER called in the cluster bomb. MILLER blew up the AAF extraction heli and MILLER was the mine that killed Markos. DAMN you Miller! Damn you and your nefarious schemes!
All that, for the price of their main mission...spoilers To find a weapon of mass destruction (WMD), The cluster strike only provoked the FIA to grow larger and controversial to the population of Altis (Thinking it was csat), making more time for Miller to find it. (So, strategically to both groups of Miller and FIA, it was a win win). Unethical, but hey, just a soldier following orders. Eastwind (which is the campaigns name) is actually the codename for the WMD they were searching for. (Hint; its the device that makes the abnormal eathquakes)
Think about it, it doesn't need to be miller which started a cluster strike on the Orekastro as he had no reason to cluster-strike it, either that, the NATO mil-spec rounds or something, would either be because the FIA used these rounds, since I suppose that either TAR-21 uses the NATO mil-spec rounds, and either that, the FIA would pretty much gather all of the NATO left over supplies when the NATO has been ordered to fallback from Altis.
Are you pressing anything to start the shut down process on the terminal? When I get to it, he does nothing, he just sits there. I cant even get past this part.
No problem, got a bit of the Arma 3 Global Mobilization DLC! And soon enough the Contact DLC will be uploaded here! But thanks for the support appreciate it :)
Not impossible, just difficult. You have to play slow since the enemy likes to hide and wait for you a lot. Normally it's best to keep your tanks spread out so they would automatically spot targets for you.
ARMA3 SINGLE MISSIONS (2 ideas) THE FIRST IDEA if for Bohemia Interactive and is about the modding tools. Your editor is fantastic and powerful but I think you need to create a middle tool. Many people with great ideas could be a bit intimidated by the level of detail of this editor; it is powerful but complex but we need something more straightforward, something less complex to do manage. Something that does not require a too much learning and that takes a lot of time to do craft a mission. This editor will allow to create less complex missions but much quicker. Sometimes a simple mission if well crafted can be more memorable than a complex one. So, if you are reading, think about that and create for us an editor which is quicker and easy to use; that could bring you the creativity of many people that at the moment are cut out from the creative process. Thank you! THE SECOND IDEA is for single player mission creators an it is called: "THE OTHER TAKES" When you create a mission it would be interesting to create different version of it, like different takes based on the same core; that would enhance greatly the replayability of the mission. The first original mission is the most time consuming as you start from scratch but the the other versions are slightly different and therefore very quick to make but will enhance the replayability, for example: FIRST ORIGINAL MISSION:"At the end of our freedom". Second Take:"At the end of our freedom take 2": + a house full of enemy soldiers where before there was nothing + a tank coming out from a secondary road, and a few rocket luncher hidden in different houses + the passage of 3 airplains at low altitude (just for the thrill) + a huge explosion on the horizon + a squad member with a substantial different weapon + a few high skilled enemies that substitute rookies from the original mission Third Take:"At the end of our freedom take 3": + a couple of civilians hidden in a house asking for some food + a diary found on the ground of a madman + other 2 soldiers found on the bushes that join the platoon + a radio message that indicates that the area is radioactive potentially lethal + just an eerie noise from the forest Those "alternative takes" add extra linfa to the mission, inviting the player to replay the mission as something new is coming, will it be a slight change of the gameplay or just new events that are there to trigger the unexpected emotions. I hope you like my ideas and feel free to comment on them, thank you!
