I do have a Nissan Micra from 1993 with automatic transmission. I drove almost 300000 km and most of the time no problem,just some minor repairs what i fix it myself. I love that little car.
With mine it was two bolts under the seat, then you have to lift the tabs which is a bit awkward as it feels like they will break. If you have any problems post on the Micra k11 Facebook groups.
