The gift was from his bodyguard, which was Londra's best friend. The betrayal is because his wife and best friend were banging behind his back. So he kept the gift, as a reminder, to always watch your back, which is the primary reason he separated from the rest of the Zeniths of the main game.
While a betrayal would definitely be interesting if done well, I don't see anyone siding with Nemesis if they know what its goal is, which sort of rules out anyone we currently have with us. Maybe it takes advantage of some people's religious beliefs, like Londra did with the Quen? Though, the only ones I can think of that might work with are the Nora, and Nemesis doesn't exactly give off "All-Mother" vibes. Plus, they think Aloy's the literal second coming, so I doubt they'd turn on her. Of course, this could just be flavor for Londra and we're all just reading too much into it lmao
There could be some who think Nemesis can't be defeated like Sylens initially thought, therefore serve Nemesis to maybe have a chance at surviving. Another idea I had was Nemesis brainwashing/getting people under his influence; sort of like indoctrination from Mass Effect.
@@OMGitsSparky Well if Hades can convinc ethe Shadow Carja then I'm pretty suer Nemesis could find a way too. I guess i treall ydepends on how and where Guerrila wantto take the next game.
@@sjsharp2007 I think Nemesis will have its own worshippers too, who will serve as the main human antagonists of Horizon 3 like the Shadow Carja and the Tenakth Rebels.
@@OMGitsSparky i think the quen empire is more likely - given all of the stuff about "compliance" in burning shores it seems that there might be some kind of rebellion in their own lands. we also know that overseer bohai from the faro's tomb quest left legacy's landfall to convince the quen emperor to aid the fight against nemesis. however, i could see there being some kind of choice where you can choose to try and work with the emperor against the rebellion to get his assistance, or join the rebellion and cause a revolution for the quen empire
"a reminder to always watch your back" I think it would be pretty interesting to see someone close to Aloy start to loose faith in her during the third game or do the dirty and completely turn their back on her ( don't see anyone teaming up with nemesis but never say never)
There was this process of indoctrination in Mass Effect series, maybe Nemesis could be capable of such a thing. Or simply a master of cunning; it could be a good plot twist.
It's not the first time they've appeared here...I've seen these weapons at least once...I think it was in the bunker complex where Aloy found the Gaia backup... And I think I've seen them somewhere in HZD
If you wouldn't mind me asking, what was the name of this map? There is a decent chance I come back to map videos sometime this summer, and this one looks pretty fun.
To be honest, I can't quite remember but it is a map I haven't played before. I'll see if I can find the name using game tracker, they track maps run by each server.
I can't seem to find the name but it was on a Romanian server called Laleagane.Ro (you can find it on gametracker). The name came up in map voting and I wasn't really paying much attention. They are running new maps apparently so this map could be one of them.
I think my major problem with this one is that there are just too many hallways and open areas where you can end up spawning into and then immediately getting attacked by someone. Still remember it being a good time, though.
Yep, it is exactly what happened in this game. That Transylvania guy was just sitting on the ledge, sniping everyone; he could be cheating, I can't say for sure. A Russian guy swore at him or something at 1:30 then quit lol. The charm of this map for me personally is fighting over secret spots, not the flow of the map, etc. Since it's been so long since I played it I hardly remember any of the spots apart from the secret ladder at 3:35 that leads to the top of the building. I know that there is a secret spot behind the regular map bounds, which can be seen if you jump high enough with a gauss; never figured out how to get there. I can actually create a local game and just explore the map actually.
Certain I've played this map before, literally over a decade ago. Sorry I haven't been doing map videos, been busy with so much since I got off vacation. Planning for the series is so far ahead of actual production now, I have like the next 17 maps I plan to talk already in order.
Haha it's okay, whenever you get to it. I got the game yesterday on steam sale along with a few others. I wasn't able to play the game for a while, and it feels good to play it again. Still a good number of servers on gametracker. I love Killbox maps, it's mindless fun. Looking forward to new map reviews!
I will for sure. I'm still waiting for a steam sale on Half Life XD, so I'll try out TFC eventually. Also hoping that HLDM Map reviews also continue, if you feel like it of course.
@@OMGitsSparky Actually, both Half-Life and Team Fortress Classic are sold seperately on steam, with TFC being half the price of Half-Life. You can actually just buy TFC on it's own without owning Half-Life nowadays. (Yes, TFC is now paid while TF2 is free, go figure.) Literally the next map I have planned, and almost recorded tonight, was a Half-Life map. Those will be back sooner rather than later.
@@Newline_Void Sounds good. A map called rats_bathroom recently occured to me, some servers would run it back in the day. You might want to take a look if you have the chance, it has a quite unique design.
@@OMGitsSparky I've probably played it, the name sounds familar. The HL map I'm going to record next is from the PS2 port, there are stll a few maps from there I want to talk about. I'm almost done with both Half-Life and Team Fortress Classic in terms of offical maps, so I'm might start doing community maps for both infrequently, since I want to focus on Opposing Force at some point.
The sound effects being in high quality and not compressed to gak triggers me hard. 0/10 worst version of the game. Also at 1:54, you need to switch off the automatic weapon switching if you can in the remaster, it's dumb and does things like making you go from the super nailgun to the regular nailgun.
Haha, I'll keep that in mind. I played it with a controller and it was really hard. You mean Quake remastered is the worst or Quake in general? I heard Quake 3 was the best.
@@OMGitsSparky Oh no, Quake is one of my candiates for favourite game of all time, alongside games like Duke 3D and Sonic 3. I meant the remaster, which I actually got on steam for free since I owned the original Quake on there. I was also joking, It's actually a phenominal remaster courtesy of our friends at Nightdive. Very fond of Quake II and III as well, never played the other ones so I have no opinion of them.
A lot of the locations in Destiny look this beautiful. They really have an amazing art team. Some games just lack that talent. For example, Battlefield 2042 is running on a more advanced version of Battlefield 1's engine. They are 5 years apart. But 1 just looks more impressive and atmospheric. It's because different people worked on it.
