Thanks for the video. I see you're sailing the boat with both the straight and the curved boards; can you compare the speed and the ease/difficulty of sailing. I'm planning to buy an F16 and trying to figure if getting a Nacra is worth the price premium because of the C foil option.
Darth Revan Ja tis zeker leuk om te doen! Net als met elke andere ski sport gewoon de ski dwars op de heling zetten. Dus insturen en de achterkant van de ski weg laten glijden en dan rem je vanzelf af. Niet anders dan skien of boarden dus. Alleen met skien kun je pizzapunt stoppen maar de meeste doen dat natuurlijk niet vaak :)
No way that would be even close to 35 knots of wind. There's some whites on the water, but in 35 knots sea is basically all white, even when closer to shore and in a bit protected area.
Thanks! This was just a practice event at the sailing club in The Hague! Nothing special, just practicing for the Round Texel were we always sail with curved foils.
