It appears they moved from slab city. When I found their website it says: "We have lived in Slab City full time at this camp for 5 years now, and it's time for us to make the move to our new homestead in the Appalachian Mountains. We've learned so much in Slab City and have created a beautiful and unique camp that we are truly proud of and will miss dearly. This Spring we will be embarking on a 2,500 mile journey across the US to our new home and then we will start fresh on building our own slice of paradise to grow food, be creative and live alongside nature even more than we do currently. It's sad to leave this all behind but we trust that the new occupant will take care of it well and continue on with building the place and maintaining the mini ecosystem that we built from the sand up. There are still many years of work and care that need to go into this place to fully turn it into what we've always imagined. The "RabbitSide" brand and all of our social media content will be coming with us and the camp in Slab City, once handed over to it's new owner, will no longer be associated with Rabbitside. The place will be their home and should be respected as such."

I'm just wondering what's going to happen when they run them out.! I mean that land can be bought and the new owners can say they want everybody out of there..
There seems to be some entity that really wants to push a false narrative about slab city. Videos and articles referring to it as "the last free place in America" are numerous, as well as people calling it a "squatters paradise" but neither of these things are true. But they are repeated over and over again even by what is supposed to be legitimate outlets. Cops patrol it every day just like every other ghetto in the county. And no one would call it paradise to squat in the desert without water or power in the middle of summer when it's over 120 for two weeks straight. It's right on the edge of a military firing range and the military is firing depleted uranium made from spent fuel rods in nuclear power plants. If you live in slab city and build up a little area to live then make sure you don't leave because if you do then someone else will claim your site and all your property will be stolen. And there's no real night time in slab city since it's full of tweakers that spend the night out thieving and having psychotic episodes. slab city is exactly the type of place that people would want to avoid but now people are going out of their way to visit it because of a completely false narrative painted by the media. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the military is trying to get a large homeless camp out there so they can try out a new bomb. One of these days the navy will "accidentally" level slab city. I think the state of california wants as many homeless in slab city as possible because out of sight, out of mind.
Slab city is like palm springs except that it's full of radioactive waste. Go to palm springs in the winter and it's lively. Go in the summer and most businesses are shut down and residents are gone. The low desert in california is too hot for rational humans to live. You'll wake up at 2 in the morning and it's still 110. What I'd really like to see in slab city is someone with a geiger counter measuring the levels of radioactivity and testing the toxicity of ground water. Those bombs the military are dropping are made from depleted uranium from nuclear power plants. Also, the salton sea is a huge environmental disaster that produces a cloud of radioactive dust that prevailing winds carry to slab city. Another thing I'd like to see is doctors studying the people of slab city to see what their rates of cancer/birth defect are like. Slab City is the American version of freedom- you're promised freedom but when you get there all that you find is a toxic wasteland that's inhospitable life.
I’m looking at the thumbnail , and she’s a mess ! She is what is referred to as a tweeker . My heart sinks for her . Really , but what can we do for her ? When you go to the slabs , you’ve basically reached the end of the road . They put a positive spin on the situation . Not good . Um , but if you really want to get out of that hell hole , you have to take inspiration from salvation mountain . What was that all about ? The creator of the mountain , made sacrifices to the end that he wanted them to rise from the dead . When you’re dead , without the creator , there is no way you’re going to get out of there . The devil has you by the tail and he ain’t letting go !

Sounds like a place we should send all the illegals. They can learn how to live off the land and enjoy their life out there maybe that’s where we should just be bussing them. These people can make it why can’t the illegals hope they enjoy themselves.
