Working my way through the back catalogue, I don't know how I hadn't got onto this until now. Along with the usual elements in your videos I liked the processing tips and cooking. I'd be keen to see some more of your cooking methods on the back end. Cheers.
@@samthewaterman My Dad, back in the 1950's Attached a Penn 65-66-67 saltwater reel with about 50 mts stainless cable, to his the very powerfull 6.5 Ft spring loaded speargunn with a custom made 2nd drag at the muzzle. Cable sinks, and the reel has a reall drag. Full for cave dvellers, open for pelagics. Turn the gun and reel in the fish. About cable, no cutoffs, no tangle. 70+ years of using cable(him, his buddy and myself) no tangle, and never a dangerous issue. I did carry a float line to a bouy. Seldom had to let go the gun. Mostly shore diving without a boat
@@samthewaterman He,He, Will have to ask one of the Kids. Can build a house with my hands, but not Upload a picture It's so old it doesn't appear on Web. Cressi Cherna Spring loaded speargun 👍I'm shure it still is shootable
I've checked their site a few times and they've always been sold out. They aren't now, just ordered 2 thanks for the vid and the heads up they are in stock again
1:44 Did you just turn yourself into a Tweaker?😱😂. Shark Mack fresh is not bad chew FWIW, makes great Smoker fish. Over here in WA, you are not allowed to sell recreational caught fish, be careful of that over here if you visit, fines are nasty. Wow we are not allowed to take grouper over 1m long here either. 👀. Great day out, Loved the adventure. Dive safe, have fun, enjoy life! 🤿👍🐟😁❤
@@dougs_urbanfarm the fish wasn’t sold 😂 it was given, they asked if they could buy it however. Would take a pretty low character to sell someone shark mackerel
@@dougs_urbanfarm yeh I didn’t really specify it, although I thought it was implied, maybe my mistake. That’s interesting! I’ve never eaten one, I wanted to try it sashimi, but ended up giving it away 🤷♂️
Moreton Island and Moreton Bay were named after the Earls of Morton but they misspelt their surname and Earldom when spelling the Bay and Island names.
Epic looking trip, will have to try that recipe out with Scottish version of coral trout. No idea what that might be😂. Made a recipe for pollock but I’m sure u can get a better fish to pair with it. Was unbelievable u should take a look just posted on my channel and let me know what it tastes like with OZ fish. Slight 🔌 there sorry. Brilliant videos tho bro keep it up
@@PringlesRodandReel you can do the exact same but with sea bass! Just make sure you remove the scales 👌🏼👌🏼😂 Thanks for the comment brother appreciate it
@@danyoungy you’ll have a blast dude, so much fun. Can’t wait to release my next video, gonna be the best one yet for sure! Can’t wait to see what ya get
