Love this watch. Originally thought about a rolex, but the games the AD play with poor service really turned me off. I looked at other brands, found this watch and never looked back. It’s so nice.

With this Orient, we get a lot of watch for a relatively affordable price. I'm currently shooting it on a light brown leather strap, and in my opinion, it looks fantastic. A video will be released soon. Thank you for your comment! ❤️
Absolutely love this watch, used to own the 42 B20 Black dial Rubber strap, absolute killer, the lume really bothered me on it, ended up selling it to fund a 216570 Polar 42, always catch myself looking at them or looking online for the right price, most beautiful diver out there and I own a 126613LN still aesthetically the Breitlingis the most eye pleasing watch! Thank you very much! Beautiful watch, I really enjoyed shooting it. I would love to add it to my own collection, of course for my wrist in the 42mm version. I haven't seen the black one live, but the green one is mesmerizing. Personally, I don't pay special attention to the lume. I'm not a diver, and in real life I don't need it. I don't attach much importance to reviews or negative aspects of wathes. Nothing is perfect, so I enjoy the good things about them. Thumbs up for the rest of your watches in the collection. Great vid! Recently got this exact watch for my birthday. Tried both the 42 and 46, but preferred the larger version. The 46 wears surprising well, even on my 18cm wrist. The green dial is stunning.

Beautifully captured! I love the aesthetic of this video. I'd love to see another one with metal mesh strap for the bambino. I always think that the Bambino is meant to be paired with a metal mesh strap. It gives it a very vintage and classic look. Loved the video. Like I said before, would love to see with a metal mesh strap.

Thank you for the comment! I completely agree. They are known among watch enthusiasts, but not to the general public, like SEIKO for example. I love Orient. A good example of how you can enjoy more affordable watches, and not so much at the expense of quality. They are excellent.
One of the most beautiful Speedy videos i've ever seen! I'm currently watching alot of them as i try to decide between the Hesalite and this SS. Really difficult decision, would be my first Speedy and they both have their own advantages. What would you recommend?

The Hesalite version looks better to me in person. The sexy curve of that Speedmaster crystal gives it a special feel. It's more classic, closer to the original, and it's simply nice to see the dial through its curvature. On the other hand, the sapphire contributes to durability, and the view of its beautiful mechanism. It's a shame it's hidden on Haselite. Omega probably doesn't want to do that to stay as close to the original as possible, but on the other hand, it offers the option on the Sapphire version. If you have issues with scratches and signs of use, the Hesalite version might bother you because wear is visible on it, although it can be easily restored to its original condition. Take a look at them in person, feel them, the sellers will be happy to show them to you, and maybe it will be easier for you to make a decision that way. I hope I've somehow helped. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be satisfied with your decision. ⌚

Beautiful video, thank you for sharing this. The leather strap gives a more educated/academic/cultured soul to the watch. While the bracelet will give more luxury/high end vibes. This is why this watch is so versatile and just a marvel really.

This is exactly how I have mine. Omega deployment clasp is second to none. Totally changes the look and feel of the watch, even though I love the new tapered bracelet, one of the best bracelets Omega does. Makes for a classy looking watch, and given its not particularly waterproof, doesn't compromise usage.
I agree with you. It looks great on a metal bracelet, but it's also great on any other strap. Like this on a leather, it's a little more muted, a little more classic, for my taste. There are certainly occasions when metal is a better fit, but it all depends on personal preferences. Thank you for your comment. ❤️⌚

Thank you for commenting and subscribing. ❤ For recording, I used alligator leather from a local watchmaker. Nothing special, so it has an affordable price (20€/$) and decent quality. You can check with your local watchmakers; I'm sure they have a wide and budget-friendly selection. If you don't have any nearby, there are surely many options online. I hope I have helped.
Of course, you are right. I didn't express myself well. I wrote that it was cheap leather, but I should have made a note that it only imitates alligator leather. In our circles, that's what we call that kind of strap look, even though we know it's not made of alligator. But you're definitely right, I should have mentioned that. This is beautiful I'm saving for a 3861. Used to have an older Speedy but stupidly sold it. Now they are twice the price... oh well...its a watch for life. To me, its the ultimate watch. Hand winding, beautiful distortion on the hesalite , beautiful design, history....its worth it, even at these prices.... and I'll wear mine on leather too. The metal bracelet looks great but pulls hair and the Speedy looks better on leather P.s. I do like the sapphire version too... both great options but I love the hesalite
First of all, thank you for commenting and subscribing. ❤ True, unfortunately prices are rising every year. When compared to prices 5 - 10 years ago, no one could have known it would go this far. Ultimate watch, I would agree with you. It has everything, and personally, if I were to choose one watch, I wouldn't hesitate much. When compared to the prices of other legendary luxury watches, it still falls into the best buy category. I concur, the Hesalite version looks better on the wrist, especially when the watches are seen live, and nothing can replace that sexy curve and the charm of history. The sapphire, on the other hand, allows a view of the beautifully decorated 3861. It's hard to be wise here. Both versions shine. 🙂 Thanks again, and fingers crossed that the Speedy will be on your wrist again in the near future. ❤⌚
@@InBlueswithWatches thank you so much for the encouragement! I tried on the hesalite at omega in Edinburgh this weekend. Agreed to sell my IWC Mark 16 first and then I'll go back to them and buy the hesalite .... I can't afford to pay cash, so will finance half. It's 0% over 4 years but only £60 per month payments. I know financing a watch is silly, but I don't buy much else for myself, so that 60 per month will be my small treat every month.... I just need to decide if I should go for alligator leather strap or a black canvas one. They said as I'll get the metal bracelet version, they'll offer a big discount on the deployant strap for me, which will be almost free...a nice little bonus I paid £3200 for my original Speedy some years ago... just shows you...
Regarding the watch strap, my personal recommendation is always to start with a metal bracelet, and later, you can easily purchase leather or nylon fabric strap, either original or aftermarket. In any case, it will end up being more cost-effective. It's best to take a few of them and change them according to your mood 🙂 As for financing, I always advise colleagues: If financing a watch will not in any way affect your normal life expenses (food, transportation, housing, cultural activities, trips, etc.), then it's okay to get the watch. If something significant will be disrupted financially, no watch is worth it. Despite how much we admire them and want them in our collection, in the end, it's still just a material possession, and the initial joy of ownership will fade after a few days, leaving you to deal with financial stress. I hope that in your case, everything has been well considered, and if so, the mentioned financing option doesn't sound bad, especially since there is a 0% interest rate. I'm glad if I helped 🙂

It was great, first time I've ever watched something like that. Around the last shot I just had the picture of some elegant guy carrying his speedmaster and talking to it. Carrying it around and setting it places reciting Victorian poetry. Beautiful watch
