The Cape Wrath Ultra® is a truly unique multi-stage ultra running event - the UK's answer to the Marathon des Sables. Starting in Fort William, the race takes participants on an incredible journey linking ancient footpaths and remote tracks to the furthest northwesterly point of the British Isles, Cape Wrath. Winding through the beautiful lochs, glens and mountains of the Scottish Highlands, this is a life-affirming journey like no other.
What a fantastic film. A trail I could only dream of doing. Loved the drone footage capturing the absolute beauty of the landscape. The participants emotion and stamina. Magnificent.
Awesome, just awesome, every little bit! Well done to all racers, volunteers and staff. And for anybody watching and interested in doing this, the real thing is even more incredible!!! You have to do it, it's just wonderful... Day 1 Pure excitement - it's finally happening!!! Day 2 Wow this place is so so beautiful. Day 3 Oooff this is hard but still amazing! Day 4 Just wowowow such gorgeous country!! Day 5 More beautiful landscape everywhere Day 6 A long drag but the finish is so worth it! Day 7 Incredibly remote and just wonderful Day 8 Sandwood Bay is an absolute treat!!

Huge congratulations to all the runners who started this amazing event. You're all inspirational to me and hopefully one day I'll be there running it myself.
This is from Beks James and family to Rod Henderson! Keep smashing it. One final push Rod. You have got this. Bring it home buddy! Sending strength from HK . Now go doooooo it! 👊👊👊
Well done! Tiny request to the media team: especially at the beginning the music was very loud compared to the voices of the people. I know you're working under quite some pressure to get these amazing videos out in time, but please spend these extra minutes on the sound check
I stopped watching. In the old days of TV, there were what were called 'legal' guidelines on audio and colour etc ... RU-vid and all it's amateur 'filmmakers' have taken us back to square one.
@@the_grand_tourer it's not that bad. Plus, it's really challenging to look through the material from a whole day, gathered by many different people who only come togehter in the evening and then create a video on your laptop after an exhausting day while sitting in a wind blown tent
Your video coverage of this event…. (which is very much on my bucket list of events) has just got better and better with each running of the event. They are masterpieces which capture so much so beautifully, the work you put into them is amazing and is very much appreciated. 👏👏👏
My dream to do this event! - absolutly love the videos, I like this years style seeing more of the competiters, voluteers, behind the scenes etc. than the more 'presenter' lead style of last year.
Beks James and fam here in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 cheering 📣 on the the legend that is Rod Henderson! Keep doing what you’re doing superstar. So Uber proud of you..Beks and gang . Xxx (Awesome footage/ editorial work by the way! )
Big congrats to the media team for providing these amazing videos every day. You must be working hard and long during the night to look through all the stuff you've gathered during the day and to compose these videos. Chapeau!
Having watched all the various films of the past Cape Wrath Ultras and dared to dream ….. I have to say, this year you have surpassed yourselves. This set of films recording each day have just been so beautiful, you have captured something truly magnificent, well done 👏 and thank you for sharing these 😊
Loved following the race.. great reports daily.. capturing the spirit of such a challenge.. well done everyone.. the runners.. support crew.. and Calum for doing a brilliant reporting job..👏👏👏
I have loved watching these videos each day. Well done Summit Media and Calum. As an entrant into next year’s event, it can’t come soon enough but equally judging by how tough it is, not slowly enough. Congratulations to everyone involved this year - competitors, finishers, volunteers, event staff etc.
Congratulations to all participants and thanks to the team behind the scenes. Thanks for allowing us to join this amazing journey and for making me lift my lazy but and get it back out there to do some runs.
Many thanks for putting on the videos, a very professional job and well presented. Well done to the organisers and the competitors, hopefully I will see you in 2022 but I will be in the armchair not on the trail..those days have gone.
Beautiful trails, nice race footage and cool channel, my friend! I am happy to find other running channels like mine, to share our passions, to receive ideas from each other, to learn from each other and so on. Completely watched, liked and subscribed, dear friend!
