Lemon water should not be overlooked. It's more flavorful if one lets the lemon rind "steep" in the lemon water after squeezing in the juice for a spell because the essential oils will diffuse into the water which imparts a pleasant flavor. I start with cold water and let the "brew" steep in the fridge. It's very refreshing.
Chai is very pleasing and soothing because of its milk component, but turmeric adds so many health benefits for the digestive system and liver just to name a couple. Star anise is awesome and tastes like fennel. It also helps fight cancer and promotes heart health among other things. Lemongrass has a mild lemony taste and contains an antioxidant. This chai is a powerhouse of great taste and great wellness!
I think it’s great that you started this channel even before you open the Tea store. And I look at the benefit of it. You have over 100 episodes and you guys have only been opened at the Tea store for about four months.
Thank you. The episodes can’t seem a little dated where I say “when we open the tea shop”… But I wanted to get Contant out there, even when we were only a virtual business.
I think it’s almost impossible to dislike Jasmine. I think people who don’t like green teas in general it’s because they’ve had bad a green tea, their whole life. Not properly done at the right temperature and too bitter.
My usual preference is for unflavored teas, but real jasmine tea has always been one of my favorites--sweet and floral. (I can recall when it was still difficult to get tea from China itself, and those tins were treasures.) And I couldn't agree more with your comments about the artificially flavored teas. When I was once asked about the products at one of the chains, my response was "I think that this is a store for people who don't much like the taste of tea."
