Any hotel within the Auckland CBD would be a walking distance to the Bus Terminal. I stayed in VR Auckland City Hotel, which is a 5-minute walk to the Bus Terminal 😃

It’s better to book tours separately in Queenstown. In the city centre, you can find a lot of booking agents that offer lower rates for each package. Kung marami kayo, I suggest you rent a car, para maka-less sa gastos! For helicopter scenic flight, depende din booking agent, so making sure you go around first to canvass to secure the lowest rate. Depende rin kasi kung anong helicopter ride ang gusto, if you want to go to a specific place. But generally, prepare around 300 NZD. :)

I saw na you have morning and afternoon activities in day 1 (that probably includes the helicopter); then for Day 2 you have the whole day for the Miliford Sound?... am I right Sir?... if you remember, how much in total po per person should be on our budget for those 2 days po? Thanks Norvin! Yes, timed po yung tour proper. It takes around 2 hours all in all within Hobbiton. For the rates, it depends kung saan ka galing, but from Auckland, I only paid 159 NZD all in. 😊
Norvin Miguel I’m afraid you can’t go to Hobbiton without booking from an accredited travel agent. By group kasi once you are there! It’s a supervised tour, somebody from the movie set is touring you around. Honestly, di ko alam if the set allows direct booking. My suggestion is, find a travel agent/company that offers the lowest rate or that may suit your needs. :)
