The anecdote at the beginning on mindlessness reminds me of when my daughter told me of a supermarket checkout person she'd seen, asking an obviously blind customer for some age ID as she was purchasing liquor. I had to chimney up passed to sets of 4'x3' air duct to get up and run the feeders for the mcv 3rd floor renovation. Had a dust mask, dust suit which I took my shirt off to keep cool and shot hangers pulled wire for the whole renovation while they continued to care for patients. Makes me feel good.

The element that is missing in this presentation, is related to human consciousness and how it has developed through time. Think of the time when it was believed that planet Earth was the centre of our world, based on what our perception dictated. Now, our technology allows us to perceive our planet as the 3rd one from the sun, which is the center of our Solar System. Do you see how our perception is relative, and not absolute? Technology has caused human consciousness to focus on a material existence, which is connected to the idea that matter is all that matters, and that all material objects and substances can be controlled, and used for a variety of purposes. The existence of consciousness on a spiritual level is thereby snowed under, moved out of what is known as science today. An example of this split, with dire consequences, is what affected us during the recent years, and the motive behind the Climate Change Report. You may ask " What's the relation between those two?" The answer is "Fear is used as a revenue model" by creating a cause that is a mind-construct of a control mechanism, in a willful denial of spiritual values, and evolution of human consciousness The consequence of that split, separating the material world from spiritual values, is that moral standards have become largely absent. It's called "abomination".
