Que le Seigneur bénisse votre apostolat. Savoir que les Etats-Unis pourront un jour devenir une nation orthodoxe est un baume au cœur pour moi. Good bye Luther et compagnie.
If you can visit Ladyminister monastery in Cañon City Colorado please do so. I think I can still remember the turns to take on Tallahassee Road to get there.
So... his solution to the clergy shortage is to make it more DIFFICULT to become a priest? Why does an Orthodox priest need to have a masters degree? This is ridiculous.
Bravo!! What an amazing testimony to how our beautiful church - and the beautiful people of our church - are helping at risk women. This series was a blessing to watch. God bless you, Dn. Adam and thank you for creating content that is filled with love and empathy.
This docuseries doesn't explain that Dr. Tiller was so financially successful in the "business of providing late-term abortions, that he had a medical waste incinerator. This meant that Tiller no longer had to pay for a "medical waste" company to pick up & remove the remains of the abortions. It requires special handling! I find it very troubling that Dr. Tiller was a deacon of the church where he was killed & that many people mourned his death because he was seen as "such a compassionate" person. I do not condone the murder of anyone who is involved in performing abortions. May they repent & turn from their sins.
Thank you for the comment Fr. Nectarios. I recommend looking up Heartbeat International for a local affiliate in your area. That is the best way to find local resources.
I would like to go someday. I am still discerning whether I am being called to a vocation. Tuition will be the biggest tangible challenge. I am working now and I am hoping to have a good amount by the time I may enter seminary. We will see. Thank you, Fr. Chad.
Is there as discussion group on starting and expanding mission parishes? If so, I would like to join. You folks are certainly on the right track. There are also other ways to remedy the priest shortage. And I have an idea with mission churches could be started for almost free.
All they need is a blessing from their bishop and to know what they are doing. For example, I am assigned to the Eastern Rite, and I have a blessing from Metropolitan JOSEPH to serve in Western Rite parishes.
What an amazing thing! I'm so grateful to our youth for sharing God's love, and getting their hands dirty doing it! And thanks to the adults who accompanied them.
