Why is it bad though lol you raised that dog that way it's on you . If you wanted to have a hunting dog you should have started from early age of 5-6 months old. My cocker is not trained to be a hunting but we learned all the basic tricks ,commands and she lives for agility training. It's all about how you will raise them to be like.. My cocker was so hyperactive that I had to find a way to exercise her aside from early morning jogging and walks three times per day. Agility did it for us and Brielle.
