In this area were there already solvers in use? I know Charlie is know for not using solvers but also Ben I only hear exploitive comming out of him just wondering if the way of thinking in this sessions is still somewhat up to date.
This is most people post flop. Scared, don't bet. Not scared bet. When they bet and people fold they say I am an amazing player. When people bet and someone calls and they lose most people say they got so unlucky. They just don't see they suck at poker. LOL!!
I know this is a bazillian years ago. I know exactly how, why, and where I tilted. A new player was added to the table, he took the seat to my left. He was a madman, he'd bet 100bb and do stuff like not even look at his cards. This irritated me and I wanted punish him. But he luck held and I kept playing sub par hands like 67s and A9o. Junk hands. I tried to tighten back up but just couldn't.
Thank you so much for saying that. After watching so much poker and studying so much GTO theory someone has finally said that GTO is really only good against good players. And at the average player that I find in the local tournaments for under a few hundred dollars GTO doesn't work. And that exploitive play is better.
There's a guy at micros who is a pure strong lag. He's sitting on multiple buyins stacks everytime I meet him at the tables. A 100nl pro told me this guy used to play 100nl and he was considered a legend there. I have no idea why he downgraded stakes so much. But he is contantly crushing everybody who steps in is path since many years. He is a 32/28/4 on my sample. So I'm trying hard to widen my range to get closer to those stats and man... LAG's life is risky business. Variance kicks in contantly and the ups and downs get bigger.
