Using corporate jargon to engage biblical perspectives through the use of active devotionals. What does this mean? For those of us in the corporate world, we tend to understand and live our corporate speak (e.g. KPIs, Bandwidth, Core competencies, One-on-One, etc.) more than we do the biblical perspectives we hear on Sundays. Through active devotionals, my hope is to help us walk closer with God by applying such jargon into biblical meaning.
Bible verses with Hope • Isaiah 40:31 - But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. • Micah 7:7 - But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. • Romans 15:13 - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. • Romans 8:24-25 ~ For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
