I live in South Carolina. I have beautiful lizards living under my house. Wanted to see how I can build them a habitat so they can come out of hiding and enjoy the sunshine and my daughter and I can watch them from afar. Thank you for this!
Oh, thank God , someone other than me absolutely loves the little Lizards,!❤next to my front porch steps , I have a small garden, veggies and flowers combined, rocks, little water fall, in half sunny and half shade, just for my little lizard friends, ❤I came here to see if I can do anything else, but I think I have them covered and satisfied, hah❤
Fill the damn thing in. That’s what nature would have done 100 years ago. Only human interference has stopped the continual process of a new beach forming with a brand new lagoon. Just walk back the escarpment. You will note the old coastlines. Nothing to do with ice ages etc. just prevailing winds carrying crushed seashells from long reef.
True! I’ve had one come to my yard for 2 months now. But my dogs are scaring him off to not live in my backyards I would love for him to live in my backyard!
Where did you ever get the Arrangements? You have a really great Jazz Program. Especially for Strings! George Washingmachine Quartet and now Charlie Parker with Strings. Is there a University nearby that actually teaches Jazz to Violinists?
I just have an old freezer with some holes in one side for drainage and just a brick under one side so the liquid runs. I don't have any blanketing or trays and this happened by accident as i had nowhere to put the worms from the compost tumbler. I did the hole and brick thing so my compost didn't go rancid at the bottom. I just throw in straw and woodchips to help break down the chooks poo. I also put the chicken crumble in there too. When i need chook manure i just use it worms and all. I have the same in the tumbler. I give the big red scrub worms to the chooks. I throw my green waste into one of those tin garden beds so the chooks can forage and deposit manure which brings worms for them to hunt.
Thanks for your presentation Hillary. I loooove lizards and am keen on making houses for them. I lay flat stones on the ground facing south then a slightly elevated second flat stone on top and thanks to you will place mulch all around.
