So sorry to hear of Vicky's passing . She was such a brave strong little girl wene the accident occurred and such a accomplished strong young woman . I have watched your story on TV several times you worked so hard to get justice for your precious daughter . You should be so proud of yourself too. Your picture shows what a lovely kind lady you are and Vicky looked so wonderful in her pictures too . Sending love to everything else you all go on to do in your lives. Remembering Vicky . Reference to France and its role it’s extending and perpetuating the system in America which fueled it both domestically and foreign, becoming partakers in the worst trade and system ever known to mankind France whose name humanity has often cause to shudder, now is giving its sanction to Texas, a territory fraught with so much crime and inhumanity involving so many of our fellow humans, France now recognizes these pirates! France seems to be reckless of all principal and only speculates on some peity mercantile gain! If Texas is annexed, we may see all the horrors of the French Revolution fall upon the heads of our country men for speaking out against their down trotted colored brethren and the scenes of the West Indies slave revolts rekindled! The Texian state for some time has been recognized by the United States, and now is recognized by France, what a contemptible thing to be called a nation! The main purpose and aim of both the United States and France was to carve out more states to establish a market of slavery, a system unheard of and unpracticed across the world, save a few savage indigenous tribes and barbarous nations, and this too on a far larger scale by the proud and intelligent North American republicans! It is scarcely possible to foreshadow the fate of the united states and France, but it is likely that their role in the system will eventually plunge their citizens as well as their country in result, or bury the happiness and liberty of their people in a single grave. To have enslaved humanity under circumstances like these is no light transgression and brings with it, naturally, no light retribution! And our solemn statesmen,-when it burst upon us, can no more devise relief or escape, than Belshazzar's wise men could help him in his extremity, or read the writing on the wall of god’s condemnation of the transgressions and backslidings! We need not shake our faith in republicanism after reading the history and fate of France and England battles! We are beginning to exhibit this very spirit of French Propagandism! Some good men have attained the title, and have been called “great”, an Alfred, a Peter, a Charlemagne; but most have been great in crime and blood; an Alexander, a Pompey, a Caesar, A Xerxes, a Herod, a Louis, a Henry, a Frederic, a Charles, a Bonaparte. But who are they? And how do they compare with him whose is who is actually “Great”? Even in corrupt and degraded Italy, the cross is never made handle to the dagger! - Anti Texas Legion remonstrance by some northern states against Texas annexation 1846 by Benjamin Lundy
No one really talks about this but wow what if Morrison never replaced Chris, if that never happened I wonder where his career would’ve went just because that really started his run of John Morrison
I hope this was a casual conversation, cuz it sure as hell ain't an interview. Fans are looking for more than one-word answers--get with the program, Benoit!
Diesel, Undertaker, Sid, Davey Boy, Austin… these guys showed they could WORK because Bret set the board. Bret was special and a lot don’t see why… but in short, if you beat Bret Hart in the squared circle, you were over with the crowd. If Bret beat you, somehow you went over with the crowd. I can’t think of another star who had that kind of magic. Shawn didn’t even want to put over Austin who was white hot at the time and had to be threatened to drop the title… man is not made of the same stuff.
Bob Holly is a punk, Matt was a friend of mine, If I wad at Tough Enough I would have been in Holly's face, Bob and I wouldn't have gotten along if I was on there we would have had a problem
It's a tricky scenario, because you can admire his wrestling, you can be a supporter of that, and that legacy needs to be kept alive cause you really can't erase history. But earasing Chris Benoit the person, was the right move.
Chris was gonna die anyway the damage was already done and he was going to die in 10 or 6 months he'd been doing the diving headbutt and getting hit in the head for 22 years he was gonna die regardless the sad part is that he decided to take his family then himself..
I think that it's appropriate to separate performer from someone's personal life. What Benoit did was wrong yes, but because of that I don't think it's right to just erase all his accomplishments and pretend that he never existed, as is WWE's case.
I just came across this after having seen this story a few times and I had no idea of the remarkable transformation that this young lady went through before she died. I had always felt bad because of what was taken from her by the accident but seeing this made me so glad that she really did get out there like she talked about in the show. But it looked to me like she must have really made some more amazing progress after the show with maybe more surgeries or therapy so that she could do the wrestling. She looks so normal in the pictures, and beautiful. Good for her.
Still are takers best matches as far as I care. The wrestling world would be in a far better state today if more wrestlers took it as seriously as Bret Hart.I
There's loads of other great wrestlers and legends to watch. to hell with benoit. wwe are right to never mention him ever again. he's a child killer and a woman killer. he deserves zero respect
