Beautiful concert! Thank you to ROC video crew for offering this live stream. Special thanks to Dorothy and the ISS - always musical perfection in every piece they perform. The soloist, the accompanists and even Tom - all part of an exceptional ministry of the Salvation Army. God bless you all as you continue your Songs of Love Easter tour here in the States.
Thank you to Dorothy and the ISS for a wonderful evening of truly inspiring music performed at a truly magnificent standard. And kudos to the video team of ROC for a brilliant production.
This sermon just continues to grow as I contemplate 1 Pet 3:15: But in your hearts set Christ apart [as holy-acknowledging Him, giving Him first place in your lives] as Lord. Always be ready to give a [logical] defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope and confident assurance [elicited by faith] that is within you, yet [do it] with gentleness and respect. (Amplified). And from this mornings Lectio: May I live this day COMPASSIONATE of heart, CLEAR in word, GRACIOUS in awareness, COURAGEOUS in thought, GENEROUS in love.
Thank you for the service this morning. However, the last part of it was cut off, so we didn't get the last song or the benediction. Media malfunction?
Yes, apologies something happened and the livestream ended early. We are trying to figure out what caused that. So glad you continue to join us in this way. 😇
Thank you for this service. One of the joys of watching is seeing the congregation. This has not happened for the last couple of weeks. Is there a reason for this? It could be done during the closing song and then you could still share the announcements after the benediction. We do miss the fellowship of being present. Thanks for your consideration!
I concur with the comment of Irene Case (above). Let me also quote Commissioner Roberts: “God wants us to be His people, dedicated completely to Him, belonging entirely to Him, for His purposes and for Him to use. He wants us to represent Him as light in a dark and desperate world, a world filled with sin and confusion hatred and evil. He wants us to live like the people He has called us to be.” ¡Bien dicho!
Thank you Commissioner Roberts for your beautifully delivered message. A Saint on earth is one whom the Light of God shines through.... I loved the analogy of light shining through a stained glass window.
Listening from East Coast Australia. We are 3 hours south of the largest Australian City of Sydney.....love d the service and look forward to worship again.
Thank you Julie for lovely familiar hyms on Sunday. Thank you, too, for filling in for Jenny. It is also great to have John join you. You are both a nice addition to our preliminary ministry!!
