Hi! I do gaming pc builds for New Zealand, recommendations on parts, buyers guide, unboxings, personal projects and much more. Also check out my website ystech.org!

@@lotionplayz Hi, sorry man I probably should have let you know later but I realised there isn't much return in terms of views/watch hrs for a pre-built comparison video let alone a normal pcpartpicker PC build video for NZ. I pretty sure I dmed you on discord for smth as well :). But yea my bad I should have let you know early. I'm sorry man it's just not worth it unless view count or watch time picks up :/. At the moment I'm more focused on trying to increase watch time. It's on me man I hope you can understand :'). Have a great day man. :D -YS
CORRECTIONS!: 0:46 & 0:50 - Upload speed should be 258.66* NOT 285.66 0:52 - Changes in the % increase: 49.32*% Increase in DL Speed 57.71*% Increase in UP Speed
Resizable bar on has always been my choice with my Nvidia gpu. Worked great on my old rtx 3050ti/Ryzen 5600H laptop since it was only 4gb vram but my system has 32gb so definitely gain almost 30% in some games. Now I have have a laptop with RTX 4060/ryzen 7940HS and I’m sure I’m getting gains since it uses faster ddr5 system ram. Maybe I can do my own tests.
I made a tutorial on how to enable ReBar for an Nvidia GPU (30 series and above) Check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HExpGSvYTMk.html :D
NOTES!: - Probably a good idea to update your Nvidia Drivers as well. ○ Make sure you make a restore point before you do this just in case there are any issues. 6:48 You can play around with the Limit Sizes for VRAM, but it depends on your Nvidia Driver? (I believe) e.g.: This is from (which is also a Quote)www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1acirzz/comment/kjvhdfv/? "0x0000000040000000 = 1gb (default value for most whitelisted games) 0x0000000060000000 = 1.5gb 0x0000000080000000 = 2gb 0x0000000100000000 = 4gb 0x0000000200000000 = 8gb 0x000000000C800000 = 200mb (Diablo 4 default value) 0x0000000012C00000 = 300mb (The Riftbreaker default value) 0x0000000280000000 = 10gb "
If you want to test correctly, you must install windows in compatible mode for resizable BAR OFF and in UEFI mode for resizable BAR ON. The results will surprise you. I can give you an example: Superposition R-BAR ON -> 21655, R-Bar OF -> 22065.
@@mikymouse7525 That's really interesting man :D. When ur talking about windows in compatible mode are you talking about CSM being disabled? Yea U have to have a gpt drive. I found gta v wasn't that great with rebar on and plague tale wasn't a very nice experience either. What are the specs of ur PC? :)
@@mikymouse7525 ;). ReBar is a bit odd xD, I'll follow this video up with a 1440p one and ray tracing in the same video. Some of my 1% lows are not good with 1080p rebar off, and I even found this true with r7 3700x, which I used previously. Sometimes it's system dependent :/. Will be doing another follow-up video hopefully, you will see it in the next two weeks or so. Appreciate the comment, though, as well :D Have a good day! :)
I have been needing to upgrade my pc parts but i cant afford to upgrade them plus i dont have a lot of storage plus my pc cant run windows 11 due to the motherboard and cpu i have and i need to upgrade my old monitor and mouse and microphone to a better one my dream setup is 3 monitors and a rising deskand a good microphone and good monitors and a pc that is good for gaming at high fps and other tasks like recording yt videos in the future and streaming on RU-vid and a comfortable chair and a gaming laptop with my dream setup and along side an extra mouse and mouse pad and headset great video
Aha man dw take it one at a time so you can save up slowly. I've been in the same position as U b4 just take it time and make sure U get the best deals possible. Maybe even try the 2nd hand market :D.
From my testing it doesn't really make much of a difference in fps, but with Rebar it uses 600MB more VRAM in Cyberpunk 2077 compared to off. In VRAM constrained situations like path tracing it hurts performance even more so I have it disabled on my 3070.
I'm thinking of doing something that use both drilling and 3D printing. 3D print a jig with perfectly spaced holes and drill through the case material with the jig in place, so your holes are aligned better.
@@ccricers Thats could work well haha, but at the same time you could also just 3d print out an airflow front panel xD, but might be a bit pricy depending on the infill ahaha :). Sounds like fun doe, give us an update when you finish it :D <3
Notes: Correction: at 6:55, I was supposed to say A Plague Tale Requiem, being a 21*% difference for Average FPS. I made a tutorial on how to enable ReBar for an Nvidia GPU (30 series and above) Check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HExpGSvYTMk.html :D
Old days mother board. Beep , Beep , Beep... Today's PC mother board are function as designed. No sound, no display. Case study There is an old PC in trash. If U are not an expert, don't have a proper RAM to test the PC, just let it go.
I just Installed Windows 8 Build 7978 on my old 2007 PC. Specs: 320gb Harddrive SATA DDR5 Or DDR4 Memory 2 gb AMD64 LIVE! Runs Vista, 8, And 8.1. NVIDIA
Okay, this is a little ridiculous. This is no different than unplugging a toaster. The warning at the end is needlessly extreme. Unplugging the CPU power connector while running is not a good idea, but it's not going to cause data corruption either. It's no different than pulling the main power cable. Modern file systems are more resilient to sudden power losses than that. Even less likely is the proposition that not having it connected on power on would break something. Again, all it will do is fail to start. Getting sick of these clickbait videos. Computers aren't magic, you cut the flow of electricity where it was needed and surprise, it stopped functioning... temporarily.
Thanks for the feedback bro ☺️ unfortunately these videos tend to get more views on shorts. I could put out benchmarks for example and it will get significantly less views 😕 I get it though man haha
nothing happens untill you restart the PC for said modules to be detected/ registered by the UEFI BIOS of the motherboard, in the DDR & DDR2 days it used to shut down your computer due to a sudden physical change to the specs of the system itself.
I've seen a video where all ram gets removed while PC is running and it immediately kills the Pc and causes all sorts of problems. But this, i never really thought of this, and it's a really good question. Because this can happen. Someone may put their Pc to sleep instead of power off.
Yeah that makes sense, when you start up the pc it will essentially move some of the files windows needs to run to ram. That’s what your idle ram usage is. That’s basically all files your pc needs constantly to run (and stuff it might need) By adding a stick it will likely just get confused where to find the data since suddenly the location doesn’t make sense anymore. It’s kinda like you just build a new neighbourhood in a split second on the place where you used to live and moved your house to the next street over. The pc is confused but after resetting some stuff it will figure it out. But if you remove the stick as it’s running, ram is unable to save data without power. So it will immediately wipe the entire memory. This is more like you coming back to find your house demolished. Then having someone reassemble it and you now needing to put everything back exactly where it used to be. Yeah no way that is happening. So you’ll never get everything back the way it was. Does that make sense? I hope the house thing helps and doesn’t actually just make it more complicated xD
Not sure sorry haha it came withe the motherboard as the CPU is actually integrated on the motherboard. Here is the model if you want 😁 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SgjJPqWrSUo.html
