My collection is mainly pre 1920’s except for the four kings signed photos with two of my favourites also signed is Danny little red Lopez and Ruben Olivares. I have books signed by battling Nelson, LaMotta, Archie Moore, Dempsey, Gene Tunney’s 500 copies limited edition autobiography and photos signed by Dempsey to his sparring partner and one with him and George Carpenter both signed with the program in, also a Jimmy Wilde one. The first one I had was when I sent for the Welsh Warriors print to save money up for the Johnny Owen statue in Merthyr they sent me a signed photo of him for free so I framed that and his last fight poster vs Lupe Pintor plus I’ve just sent for a full ticket of Dempsey-Willard which I’m hoping I will be able to frame but it’s in a PSA authentication sleeve so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to or not. But I’d love to hear from other collectors, I’m friends with a bloke who has Battling Nelson’s book signed to James.J.Jeffries which must be worth a lot.
