That’s why I hate the whole walking dead universe too many characters, dying stupid ways that it’s actually unrealistic. Most characters don’t mean anything personal to the player Nick should’ve been in Mike’s role instead The betrayal of Nick going with Arvo and Bonnie would have been more impactful since it would make kind of sense because everyone Nick knew including Luke would be dead
It could've been Luke got convinced by Jane to go back to Carvers camp then after she drowned he finally start to step up against Kenny and decided to go on his way WITH the baby but Kenny refuse to give it so they fight to death.
After the adventure with clem (Saving Her too if picked Nick), there's NO WAY that Nick would abandon clem like that. Nick still wouldn't be the last survivor, Luke would still be, cause Luke gives out his important line: How did we get here? Sitting in the snow, bullet in my leg, but alive, when so many of my friends are dead. Everyone we set out with, just gone. Nick's Death should've been at The Ambush where there was an actual casualty where he really protected his group and we'd be more mad at arvo for losing Nick in the attack right after losing Rebecca. Just like we couldn't do anything when we lost Carley to Lilly, losing Nick to Arvo should've made us players mad at him and we would've treat Arvo like Sh*t at the start.
At the shootout, that’s where Nick should’ve died, protecting the group, then Mike is the one that has more dialogue with protecting Arvo. Luke wouldn’t side with Arvo as well due to losing Nick and Rebecca at the same time.
Luke was an empty character to be honest his bestfriend died and he cried for 5 seconds and completely forgot about him. The only team luke mention nick is when he mention other people which is just lame, it's the game mentioning our old useless characters
I think if Nick lived to the car jacking scene, he should've tried to convince Clem beforehand instead of Clem catching him and Arvo because I really don't think he'd have left her, and be definitely wouldn't have left AJ.
Nick deserved much better. One of the coolest characters in season 2. Mike, Bonnie and Jane were completely and utterly useless. Nick was heroic and protective. He should of made it into episode 5. Very tragic person. Most likable individual with Luke and Pete from the cabin group. Cabin group got done so dirty they helped Clementine to grow and develop a lot only to be tossed aside by Telltale's writing team. They should of came up with a more coherent script. I thought 400 Days DLC characters would've played more into the plot than just small cameos at Carver's camp. Season 2 is my favorite but it could of been better. Sometimes Walking Dead feels like a depression simulator with how everyone just dies or someone gets a rushed death.
I don't know why they decided to change this to Jane vs Kenny. Was the person on something that day on development because Luke vs Kenny is a way more intense decision making than Jane vs Kenny. The reason why TWD S1 did so good as a game is because they had us make a hard decision in killing Lee or letting him suffer as a walker. They had the relationship beetween Clem/Kenny/Luke conflict building up from episode 2 back at the lodge at the dinner table, all for it to be gone like none of it even happened. And I liked the idea of this season doing the 'Pick your old friends of your new friends' thing but the execution of it was horribly done since Jane doesn't show up until the last two episodes( I know she technically shows up in three episodes. But she got barley any character development in Ep3 "In harms way" ) Where as Luke was introduced since episode 1.
This is what shouldve happened but honestly what could Luke have done to make Kenny so mad? Hes not an idiot like Jane who would hide a baby in a freezing car to prove a point.
Possibly have Luke set AJ in the truck, and Kenny gets upset and assumes that Luke did something to AJ. Or have Luke unintentionally loose AJ, and Kenny gets upset about it and Clem Luke/Kenny finds AJ after the fight
This would have been the perfect way to be the final fight of Season 2 instead of Kenny vs. Jane. It makes MUCH more sense and the choice would have been more difficult.
i'm glad it was kenny vs jane instead tbh. Kenny and Luke are few of my favourite characters, although I prefer Kenny over Luke, it would've hurt sm to let Luke die cuz he's such a kind person and deserves the world
Even though I agree that those two are the best characters in the entire game. I still think Kenny VS Luke is better since it gives us a hard final decision like TWD S1 when choosing to kill Lee or leave him to essentially suffer. I didn't feel much after killing Jane because they didn't make her that likable, but that is just my opinion
Omg... if it was Luke vs Kenny I'd probably just uninstall the game.. This part of the game was so hard for me I had to take an hour break to go over the options. I ended up letting Kenny kill Jane.. I was shaking the whole time haha... The scene were Kenny and Jane were arguing in the truck I was shaking too lmao And now I'm at the front gates of wellington with Kenny and he wants us to leave him behind... I literally just turned off my Xbox and climbed into bed and shed a few tears Tldr: I'm a pussy
That would have made my choice to shoot Kenny infinitely harder then it already was. But I probably would have chosen to shoot Kenny and stay with Luke and hell Luke probably wouldn’t have even did the “pretend AJ is dead crap”
Yeah I would rather have Nick over Mike. The kid made mistakes and things like the gun on the bridge weren't completely his fault, he could have been robbing them plus he was far from the 2 so he couldn't hear them
I think if this were the case I would choose Luke even tho he's my 4th favourite character and Kenny's my 3rd favourite I knew deep down Kenny was suffering and was going insane so I would've saved Luke and Kenny gets to see his family I letted kenny kill Jane cos what Jane did was fucked up I thought she killed AJ so I happily let Kenny killed but when it's revealed that she locked him up to prove a point was also a vile tainted excuse of a choice leaving an infant in a car in the cold.

I need to know how to keep him alive, I know this is editing but you could actually make nick survive to episode 4 I've done it before but I forgot how to do it. Or my memory is lieing to me.
