Welcome to the SkyLinkShock/Theory and Discussion Channel focused on The Legend of Zelda series! Focus on Zelda, but occasionally other Nintendo-related topics as well. Bring your theory ideas on down to the comments! Zelda theorizing is one of things that keeps the franchise up and running!
I’m pretty sure the chestnut king is a translation error and should be the goomba king from the original paper Mario. I don’t know if it was supposed to be a joke on how Luigi’s final boss was Mario’s first boss but either way I don’t think that makes a difference.
I thought the same thing too but take in consideration that the all the name of the characters are named after foods like Princess Enclair or Crepe so we’ll see if Nintendo decides to make them into food or copy paste Goomba king
I think that this theory deserves more attention, and so does your other theories! like this felt well put together, and my 2 braincells stopped fighting for third place when they saw this.
"irregardless" is not a word. The word is "regardless." People who use the former are perpetuating an old mistake with the word "irrespective." I remember the day Webster sent out some dumb modern millenial in charge to talk about the "word irregardless" and how they will consider it a word (with a foot note), and ever since Webster went downhill.
Not a paradox: as I see it the HW:AoC timeline would have a point where that Zelda would go down to the “basement” as it were. Just where, and when, who knows.
Absolutely brilliant video! Really got those Zelda Theory juices flowing.. It can't hurt to get excited and speculate even over something super unlikely to ever happen, so why not. I can fully get on board with your soft prediction for a new adventure beyond the Wild-Tears Hyrule with the mysterious other Zora domain, descendants of the evil Gerudo who fled there, whatever native races may have inhabited those lands and more besides (Lurelin's ancestors?). I like the idea that Kohga and the Yiga are still kicking about (I wouldn't bet on Sooga not being written off as an AoC timeline character only), and that Astor's tribe from AoC could be lurking in the post-Tears world somewhere. Just your concept of the Ganondorf-aligned Gerudo from Tears becoming Astor's tribe (by some interbreeding? With whom?) opens up lots of interesting questions I'd never considered before. What do you think of the possibility that this evil Gerudo/Astor's tribe having some connection to the warlike dragon-worshipping tribe of ancient Faron? The idea of revisiting the land after Ganondorf's defeat is also interesting, if not from the perspective of a follow-up game (I agree that a Termina type New-Land type idea would be best) but from a narrative perspective. I'd be particularly interested with relations between the Gerudo tribe and the Hylians and others post-Tears... Would everyone be suspicious of the Gerudo and waiting for the next baby boy to be born? Would they even know about Demise's curse cycle or Ganon's own? They all know the last Gerudo male was Ganondorf, but he was born a gazillion years ago when at least some of the Gerudo were somewhat evil.. Could the evil Gerudo-cum-Astor's tribe be where the next incarnation comes from? Fascinating stuff. Thanks for the video. Subscribed.
You know, I might. I recently made a video on Ganondorf's Legacy after TOTK, and it goes into a small possibility of a BOTW3 in Termina. Go check it out and share!
Personally I don't think there will be a trilogy, some things are best left unanswered instead of satisfying people by tying up loose ends. They want people to theorize and piece things together. Though I would love to see another LoZ open world game that isn't based in BoTW era.
Next Zelda will be another open world (open puzzles) but more cortoonish. A bigger map (not Hyrule) than the Wilds era, but more packed with sidequests and secrets.
Calamity Ganon is OOT Ganondorf. If you want to say Calamity Ganons goal to create a new body than youve no reason to say Calamity Ganon isn't OOT Ganondorf.
I have yet to finish watching the video so I may go back to this comment and edit it if I think of something interesting but, the great calamity of 100 years ago was confirmed to have been the last. After btow, the castle was damaged along with the seal on Ganondoor, causing the upheaval along with the decay of Rauru's body. If the calamity was killed however, like it is in aoc, then Ganondoor would be purified and probably both him and Rauru would still be alive! I would say that they both would decay or just Ganon would destroy Rauru but the ritual isn't meant to kill, just purify ones heart. [Edit]- BOGJGU;FUDLF;TLT'GLF[ITPT' Way to much to add! Holy **** Great theory!
Speaking of the corrupted Terrako, it is called Harbinger Calamity. Do you think it’s interference may of also decreased Rauru’s sealing even faster than normal? In the OG timeline, the sealing that binds the Demon King have slowly decreased thanks to the Calamity that struck Hyrule Castle for 100 years.
What if we did get a 3rd game where Koume & Kotake attempt to revive Ganondorf (with his secret stone) and were successful? Maybe they fled to another land outside of the Hyrule we know? Perhaps they're in search of the Triforce, find it, and use it to revive the Demon King with more power than ever before? Thus giving him his Triforce of Power while being amplified by his Secret Stone. Man, that fight would be so epic. Semi-final boss being Twinrova and then the newly empowered Ganondorf as the final boss. Link could maybe get a secret stone to amplify the Master Sword to challenge Ganondorf.
Well. Ganondorf's may be broken. There seem to be 6 in hyrule, and the elemental dragons may each have one. Zelda has one, which leaves 2 left. In order for this to happen, link would need to find one. And twinrova would need the other 1. That would account for all 6 that are visible in zonai art. The issue I have with the game story you made is it feels like skyward sword, with twinrova essentially being ghiriam.
I Hopefully They Announced The Third Game of Era of the Wild of Legend of Zelda, once The New game console of Nintendo is Released maybe after 6 years will released the Third Game. Maybe Link and Zelda They adventured to the Another World like Lorule The Counterpart of Hyrule If The Portal to the Parallel World will opened and The Shrines are Glowing Red Technological by Loruleans and About Lore of Ganondorf his Evil Legacies will Continued like his servants will Help to Resurrected him again maybe Princess Zelda's Blood Required to revive him If their servants will Kidnap him
Demise is coming back because in the Japanese version Ganondorf in one cutscene through translation in English says “ with you and the world together with you both steeped into darkness you will greet demise”
That doesn't really work because Demise isn't actually named in Skyward Sword. He's simply given the title "The Bringer of Demise" or more simply "The Bringer of Death". So it makes more sense for "demise" in this context to just mean "death".
@@pokemonmaster1505 still the same character just a different name cause an example of two different characters could be like Demise and Zant their two different characters
@@probenfetchak8076 my point is that Ganondorf says that you will greet demise, he's not talking about Demise the character, but just demise as in death.
If you noticed sidon's wife shes from a different Zora's domain i think it was already confirmed that there will be a part 3 well for what i know of course even tho the creator said the story is over but i think we will see sidon's wife home and new land we shall see what happens in the game of the year we shall see what happens
If so then I will be hella disappointed that there are so many loose ends TOTK. And the only mistake Aonuma, Fujibayashi, and Nintendo have made us not to be given us any DLC for either the Master Mode or a narrative story where so more of Hyrule’s distant past/the Imprisoning War with a playable Zelda. All of this will eventually become lost opportunities just like Skyward Sword’s Second Quest. My hope is the next Zelda game will have more established Zelink relationship since SS and the Wild Era given them as major highlight since Zelda 2 - The Adventures of Link.
My dream would be a sequel where wild era zelda and link have like a grand son, like say 60 - 100 years after totk, and a messenger from another kingdom comes petitioning hyrule for aid or something - and maybe our link from totk went all old Luke Skywalker and disappeared as an old man, and his grandson has to find him, starting off in our familiar hyrule (which will have changed a lot in a couple generations) and then sailing to a new land where some other drama can unfold. Possibly bring back the triforce since they didn't really use it in the wild era games, but instead of Gannon(dorf) giving us a new antagonist, like a secretly corrupt wizard advisor to the queen of the new distant kingdom we visit, fomenting conflict between hyrule and new kingdom as part of his scheme to possess the triforce. Mainly I've grown quite attached to the wild era timelime, and the game mechanics we've grown accustomed to, but we can't have another game set in the same Hyrule. And since we can see the lands to the north and west of the map, and we know Sidon's wife is from another Zora's domain, I would love to continue the adventure to new lands
There was that interview where he said basically that, or to that effect. Something about a new era. It made me think they may not even have the three core characters. I'll try to find the interview
For the third game, I would like to see Link, Zelda and the Sages travel to foreign lands outside of Hyrule (since Sdon's wife Yona is from a different Zora's domain). Thus, give this trilogy a proper conclusion and Zelda gains the monarch entitlement with Link as her consort as the pair started a family together with the Kingdom of Hyrule has been restored.
Me too... I was toying with the idea of zelda and link having a grandson who has to find old man link - who in his old age has gone all Luke Skywalker and disappeared; leading the quest to distant lands to find him... maybe because he still has the master sword or something
Kotake and Koume, the surrogate mother of Ganondorf, are indeed the true followers of Ganondorf. Bringing back Twinrova to the Age of Calamity sequel would not only enlightens me since we we have not seen her in 20 years. But also, it would give us more clues on how did Ganondorf is able to mastered the Gloom.
I found some new info about Ganondorf’s background in the original Japanese. Basically he has a dissatisfaction to the rulers of Hyrule that lived in a peace and tranquility where as he remained attached to the brutal past were those with a sense of fighting spirit are the supreme. He aims for controlling all creation instead of world domination(unlike his previous incarnations) in order bring the world back where it was rightfully roamed by demons before the Zonai came down from heaven and purified it with Shrines of Light. Ganondorf is willing to go extreme lengths to fulfill his desire. Even if he has to transformed himself into the Demon King. In short, he is a Gerudo Warrior who likes darkness and demons, whom he enjoys the thrill of battle, and he disdains for the weak and cowardly relying on the protection of others (much similar to Demise of Skyward Sword). No wonder why he has grudge against King Rauru and his Kingdom. To Ganondorf’s philosophy, he viewed the land of Hyrule should be ruled by sheer power and a fighting spirit. Having an eternal peace is nothing more than a delusion. But never the less, his obsession for a green land would bring his people out of the death and misery of the Gerudo Desert.
Age of calamity 2 would be so coooool. Even if it didn't cover the events of totk but a very different story about the ancient past. We got two that can be explored. And that's the sheikah history with the mural(which totes change in aoc timeline) or the very ancient past with rauru era
@@MarioGamer291 He's already reincarnated in Four Sword Adventures and now in the Wild duology all by himself without needing another villain to bring him back so it's not a problem for him to reincarnate as a new Ganondorf.
Bringng back Twinrova would be nice. But at the same time, a brand new villain that would challenges Zelda and Link's beliefs/philosophy about how Hyrule should run, and should any oppressive governments be torn down to give the people true freedom. A character who is anarchist that wants to bring the world to it's natural balance.
I’m so glad you made this video. I was thinking “What If TotK Started Early (via AoC)?” and you just created this vision. Also, the whole paradox with two Zeldas existing in the same time reminded me of Skyward Sword.
Its definitely a Skyward Sword reference. C'mon. In the past, sky kingdom, big birds. Seriously. If TOTK had the title Purification of the Spirit I'd never been allowed to play it.
