I also own an Ultramarine color iPhone, but I like the Sapphire blue more than the Ultramarine. I bought another Blue case and custom made a dark green case to cover it up.
i wouldn’t to a standard 16 or even plus model, pro to pro i would - speaking of just picked up 16 pro max, and a video will be dropping soon covering that
What would be the second best choice for a Gen5 SSD today or in the near future? I hope to get that one for a much better price / performance than the overhyped T705
@@kycerap204 it’s a decent upgrade from a performance standpoint but in terms of features it’s really just the camera control & action button your gaining. if you’re looking for battery improvements then it could be a consideration
Definitely wait.. 14 is not very different from 16.. 17 is supposed to get 120 Hz, Smaller bezels, a slightly bigger (6.3") and an overall much better screen, Better front camera (24MP), Better Ultra Wide camera (48 MP), Better battery life, Less heating, faster charging, Better Haptics. Also AI will become much better and useful by then.. There's really no reason to upgrade this year.. There's high chance you'll regret your purchase next year.
If you upgrade every year, your iPhone depreciates about $120-$140 depending on how well you keep the phone and how much you can sell the phone. However, if you upgraded 2 or 3 years later, your iPhone will depreciation over $180 per year in average making your iPhone just about $320 or even lesser. For this reason, if you can resale the iPhone 14 for more than $450 to $560, then you should update. The longer you hold the phone, the lesser it worth, and the faster it depreciated. When you determine whether worth to get a new iPhone, it is not look at the specific features updates, but determine how much you old iPhone worth, and if the price are match the market price. In Accounting, business computers or digital equipments usually with 5 years of useful life. Let’s say an iPhone is$799 before tax, it is about $160 depreciation, then 2 years your iPhone still able to sell over $480, then you may upgrade it. This is one method business use to value their assets. For individuals, this is not a case, but it provides you a reference to determine the market value of your iPhone. Let’s talk to my own experience. I have an iPhone 13, trade in price is $250 in Apple Store, and I believed still worth at least $320, so I sold on the EBay at a little more than $320, but offer some accessories making that I still get back about $320 after all selling fee. Then use that money to buy Apple discounted gift cards, that save me another 8%, total over $60 saving making my iPhone worth about $799+ Tax=about $810.
@Richard Lau - Impressive build! I am considering that same RAM or the TeamGroup T-Create Expert 96GB Kit (2 x 48GB) DDR5-6800. Is there a reason for the Crucial 96GB DDR5 Pro 5600Mhz Ram (2x48) RAM over anything else? Thank you
Cool video, but to be more accurate on battery life estimates and what a real day in the life is, you should actually use your eSIM / SIM in the actual phone, as you're in SOS mode and that doesn't account for how much battery reception sucks up. Nice quality video tho!
If people keep eye out you can find 4090 at MSRP... don't ever pay these ridiculous prices. With the unreal games coming out the 4090 price to Performance doesn't make since 4090 really takes a hit in frames..
ah it took a while to do the cable management so i cut that part. but im doing another video making some cooling upgrades and cleaning up the interior layout which will be released soon
smaller for sure, performance wise it comes close with its encoding and cpu performance while the i9 14900k still faster than m2 ultra chip. ssd & gpu on pc smokes the macs with more than double the performance. let alone the huge price gap. the pc build came out to around $4k, a similarly spec’d mac studio is gonna run $6.7k
@@ITSRICHARDLAU So why not a cloud desktop then? Pay as you use it? When idle costs you nothing and can always upgrade and downgrade based on tasks needed?
cloud is def a great option, but it just wasn’t for me as i wanted to have total control over my system offline and be able to customize my build. good for content sake too but to each their own
The only thing i dont like about this build is the ssd. I have personal beef with WD ssds because i bought a faulty one and it corrupted my windows partition multiple times.
Nice build I’m going 4080 super Ryzen 7950x3d ddr5 32 go ram 4 tb ssd 10 rgb fans gonna cost 5,000 Canada I’m building a beast to I’m sick amd tired of consoles and being promised stuff to and consoles will never get to Pc performance and graphic 😂
I got the 16 plus huge upgrade from my 15… I’ll give my 15 to my lil brother once I Transfer everything over to my new 12day old phone… I feel sorry for ppl who can’t afford to upgrade to the new technology and the find excuses why they can’t upgrade…
i also got same colour ultramarine base model 256gb , gaming performance and its stability was better than 15pro if u r okay gaming at 60fps . i do play 1hr of gaming regularly , it has good thermal stability as well. 30W is really great compared to 20w slow charging on 15,
@@davodxsuperstar marvel contest of champions , gearclub stradale , dream cricket , i dont play shooting games much , (iam waiting for once human game mobile version)
Nice initial review. What's up with your front tag. Looks terrible there. Google 'Sly Brackets' for your car make/model. You'll see there photos optimizing placement. Nice car. 👍
My 16 Pro doesn’t have that dead zone issue on iOS 18.1 beta 5 and as far as the refresh rate dropping it’s called pro motion display not 120hz display.
i haven’t tested it but i’m sure it’s more than capable to handle it on a performance level. although recent news just broke out that their shutting it down, but could just be rumors

Is it that the sales are actually down? Or they manufactured less units? It's not really available anywhere in apple stores currently. I was planning to pick one up during my trip to Thailand or Malaysia, but no stocks available. Its only the regular 16/16 plus which are available 😢
@@ambarish92yea it was mainly based on preorder numbers, mainly for the pro model being lower than last year. the 16 standards ones seem to be performing well
the 15 pro max is a great option, it supports the new IOS 18 AI features if you want that. plus it’s much cheaper than the 16 pros, only thing missing is the camera control button which tbh isn’t all that useful
@FLM_OFF do it, that's what I did! just last week I was rocking the 15 Plus but got a good deal selling it and paid an extra $150 for a 15 Pro Max, now I daily the 15 Pro Max and a Galaxy S24+👌
