@@johanncervantes3241 very tempted to get this exhaust. How did the exhaust hold up since you installed it? Can’t find other creators using this muffler
@@johanncervantes3241 I have Mac on there now. But I wanted to go with straight through muffler with less restrictions because of the power my car makes
Starts at compression, you want a good thump? higher compression, then decent heads, headers, off-road(if you can) H or X-pipe, I prefer flowmaster 40 series muffler, decent tailpipes or dumped at the axle.
theres no other feeling than driving and listening to a 5.0 engine. I have had so many and it makes you feel so fuckin awesome when shifting those gears and hearing the exhaust note come out of the car. I always run flowmaster 2 chambers on them!
How much power does it make? The cam sounds more aggressive than my brothers trick flow stage 1, my brother has a 95 gt with a trick flow top end kit and vortech si-trim making 426whp,and I have a 96 cobra with just intake, gears, and some suspension work done to it
387whp. Very safely tuned. It's non intercooled so heat soak is an issue when ambient temps are up. Water/meth is coming though some time. I keep procrastinating. And now I bought an ST Focus that has gotten most of my attention lately. (I should add, I'm the new owner of this car, no longer Johann.
Dude! No fuckin' way! I am now the owner of this car. I kept reading the description like damn that sounds like mine I just bought a bit ago. It's still only got 36,000 miles on it. Previously titled in IL, powerdyne SC, LM1 loudmouths, American Muscle rims, sounds exactly like that. It's my car! haha I'm up in WI. Bought it from another fella who had bought it from you I'm assuming. Had it tuned up here and it put down 385whp and 387lb-ft.
@@michaelwilliams434 It's a stock block 302....? That's pushing the reliable limits already. That's about 450 at the crank...500 is getting into danger territory most would say. It's only running like 5 or 6psi of boost. It could be cranked up, but then most likely bye bye block. It's set up to be a solid fun car that will still last at the power level it's at. I'm adding water/meth here soon so may get a few more out of it, maybe crack the 400whp mark but I wouldn't want to go too much over that.
@@jamisgood21 Nice. I bought a 94 Rio Cobra from Cali late 2017 with a stock engine @ 268 k miles. I pulled it in March and put in my 300 hp setup from my wrecked 95 GT/Saleen. TF 170s, Performer rpm 2, custom cam but around either 273/283 or 283/238, 210/218 and 525 lift, 24 lb'ers, 70 tb, 75 maf, X with 1 5/8 bbk LT's, pypes bomb catback. I'm thinking about throwing a blower on and maybe the V3S1 or a VS2 or something. I'd expect to be at least 400. I saw your combo but it wasn't complete. What's a more accurate list of your combo?
@@sandmansimms5704 Most of the work was done before I bought it. So I can't say specifics. But it has Ford Racing headers, pypes O/R xpipe, SLP LM1 exhaust, powerdyne supercharge (old school), Anderson cam (not sure the specs on it), some type of aluminum heads aftermarket, sub frame connectors welded in, 3.73 gears, 60lb injectors, and an old quarter horse for the tune on 93 octane. That's all on a Cobra 302, meaning regular 302 but with cobra IM. That's as detailed as I can get without knowing for sure as I only added a few things so far. Next will be water/alcy injection though.
@@jamisgood21 oh okay nice sounds good. I got to decide if I want to blow it or just keep it as it is for right now. I have a 500-hp terminator and going to do a 351 for the 95
This is no word of a lie. I literally shed a tear watching this. Such a great, concise video. You really capture the essence of driving this car around town, brings me back. These cars will forever be some of the most badass newer-model Mustangs of all time... lots of hate for SN95s but I dig my '94 droptop.
