I have been in the hobby since I was just six years old back in 1986 when I started flying planks. I got into helicopters in the mid 1990's. I've built and flown over 80 different helicopters and keeps growing. They ranged from co-axial, fixed pitch, collective pitch, scale to full 3D beasts. Once you set foot in this hobby it's an addiction that never gets old with the rapidly changing technology. Not only will you advance in knowledge in the hobby but the people you meet along the way and the friendships you make are Priceless. Thank you for taking the time to view and subscribe to my channel. It take 1000's of hours to do my builds, reviews, and videos. I do it for the love of the hobby and help fellow modelers. Enjoy -Chris Reibert
I see you reshaped the ailerons and yes, the fin and rudd could have been increased. I have Depron foam sheet about that thick so I can experiment double stick taping more fin area or side force fences on the wing. Could be fun.
Got that plane a couple days ago. I can see why you left the tip plates off. They're not just ugly but heavy as well. The finish and flying of your Uproar is about the best I've seen on RU-vid. Nicely done.
@@crmodels I got the ARF. Joined a power club and saw they fly mostly cheaper planes, beaters. I had 'limbo' in mind with this plane. Now I see you can do upgrades all over this thing. Very cool.
Your airplane won my heart… Wow is she ever beautiful did you Build it ? I guess by your headline it used to be Nitro in the past and you converted it to electric… Yeah I know I love the convenience of electric but you know she deserves a four stroke… Just my opinion but it's the prettiest plane ever and you're flying is absolutely wonderful. Really enjoyed your video thanks
One of our skilled club members built it. I did 3 maiden flights as a 4stroke 81 on Friday, converted to electric Sat night and 5 electric flights Sunday morning. Both flights are in my channel. Sounded great as a 4 stroke but not dealing with the mess, a starter, $$$ fuel, some etc.. electric is just charge and FLY!
@@crmodels Okay okay LOL… I agree with you having oil all over your airplane can be messy and yes the fuel is so overpriced. I'm flying a electric Sweitzer 300 chopper so I'm happy forget that Nitro crap. Still must've been cool to hear the four stroke though, but I see your point. Your plane is beautiful
Hello, 🙋♂️, i watched the full video i like it , just have a quick questions about the 150a esc hobbywing , is it fit directly? And how much flight time you get with the 6s ?
Hi Chris. In your video you mentioned you were going to install the GT Power Aircraft lighting kit in a follow up video. You actually installed the lesser version in another video. I have both sets but wanted to use the one in this video if I could. The problem I'm running into is I can't get the lights to change modes. I can't even get the lights to turn off and back on using my TX16s MKII. The Rx is a FS-IA6B. I have a UBEC to power the receiver, and I guess I'm supposed to get a switch module that the lights plug into, and the module plugs into the receiver? I've not been able to find any info on how to hook these things up so I can enjoy the different modes. Got any suggestions? Thank you. I really enjoy your videos.
Thanks to Chris and Ken for sharing these two setups. I have a friend with whom I fly that could really enjoy flying with a safe mode. Doesn't have an IX radio, but has a DX9 that should still work fine. I will be sharing this with him.
Hi Chris, I’m currently building one of these with the T-Rex 700E Pro, what head speed are you using as it looks quite docile on the video. Nice bit of flying by the way
Beautiful flight and heli im thinking of building a MD 500 700 size do you know if a Synergy 696 would fit and if so will there be much modifications. Any advice would help since I have 3 ( 696 ) I could possibly build three scale helis if they work . Thanks
