I don't like paying people to do things. Most people don't show when they say they will and many do inferior work. Most times I say "I'll Do It" at may take me longer but at least I know it will be done right! My plan for my channel it to make videos of how I have figured things out, fixed of built myself.
I went to buy a can am about 3 years ago. I heard this noise, knowing nothing about it, I walked away thinking it may need a engine rebuild. So instead I bought a money pit Sportsman 700.... 😂 Great!
The washer was cut to allow it to sit flat. The surface is curved in one area and prevents the washer from sitting correctly. Cutting the washer solves the problem.
Same issue on my Outlander 1000. Was fine when I loaded it on the trailer, drove about 18 miles of washboard dirt road, when to unload and made the same rattle. I assumed bouncing and moving back and fourth on the trailer caused those clutch weights to destroy themselves.
