Absolute POS. The black parts that sit on the door panel scratch the crap out of the car. They have 0 padding. The racks themselves have no extension if they’re too long for your vehicle DESPITE being measured correctly.
The metal straps were manufactured backwards. I flipped them over and then they ratcheted correctly. Also broke a key cover while installing, very poor design. Once installed though, very snug on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra.
Hi, please check that the top part is fully closed, you can try pressing firmly with your left hand and then turning the key clockwise until it comes out.
Of the many videos on RU-vid, yours is the one that shows how to uninstall it! Many people f*ck it up the first time, and need to take it out. Thank you for this video For those having trouble pulling it out, make sure the metal part is angled downward when pulling, like it should be when installed on car.
Quello che non riesco a capire dopo averle montate e serrate come si fa a smontarle in pratica a sfilare i cursori in metallo perché mi rimangono bloccati e non tornano indietro. Grazie !!!!
Attempting to put this rack on today again, I had severe trouble getting the hex screws in the right place in order for those hooks to catch on the doorframe. And when I ended up getting those in the right place the knob tightens down on the hook and lifts the whole roof rack up off of the car about a 1/4" of an inch and wobbles back and forth. Any tips or tricks would be awesome.
@@user-lw4ye3iv1m It’s not. I’m in the return process of the Universal Roof Rack. My Thule Evo system that I just got for my 2017 Honda Civic Sport requires short hooks in the front and long hooks in the back because my roof is contoured. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have a flattop roof.
@@user-lw4ye3iv1m I do not have a pre-braced roof rack on my vehicle from the factory. Just rain gutters. This product will ONLY work on roofs that are FLAT, not contoured.
The instructions this came with suck ass so I came here for a tutorial and it’s just this random guy un-tightening and retightening it after it’s already assembled with music playing???? Super cool
This video is useless. I am returning the product. There are parts identified in the package list that then disappear in the instructions. As another commented, you start a tutorial by opening the box, identifying the parts, show where each part goes then you install on the car.
I'm very sorry, because it's the first time to do the installation video, and I have no experience. I've made a new video. Please check it if you still need it.
I’m gonna put on my car tomorrow and I’m going to give me a feedback. All these comments doesn’t mean anything show the problem that you had instructions is not good, but the video is.
This is not a useful video , English subtitles required , start with opening the box , identify parts enclosed , start assembly procedure , what parts go first and a reason for doing this , final checking and tightening procedure , please ….
If you purchase this and you’re watching it, do yourself a favor, put it back in the box, and ship it back to them. Don’t waste your time not worth the headache, horrible instructions that come in the box horrific video on how to do this. The only way I got to time is if you flip the aluminum strip
You obviously haven’t bought the product, read suppliers instructions or watched their video - all of which are pathetic and unfollowable. I tried to mount these roof bars using their instructions and after 90 minutes was on the point of giving up when I came across this video and by following it I succeeded in 20 minutes.
