Fantastic job guys!! I enjoyed all of the run video. With no music, and just the sound of your breathing and your feet, it really gave a feel for what it's like to run the trails. My daughter and I have run it 5 times in a row, and posted video to the channel. I've run it 3 times solo, since. We're heading back mid-Aug '22 for another daddy-daughter R2R run.
Thanks! Music could have made it more interesting but it was more of just throwing together an awesome memory. I'll give your videos a look. Heading back in May this year for a R3 attempt.
@@bnktobler I really want to do a Rim2River at the end of May again (3rd year in a row) as a shake down for the R2R in August. It's a lot of fun to carry "some" speed down S. Kaibab, get to the bottom in just over an hour (would love to break an hour, but I don't think I'm tough enough), and push the run up Bright Angel as much as possible. It's all fun and games until I leave Indian Garden, start the switch backs a half mile away, and realize how totally screwed I am!
Sorry about the late reply. Pole Canyon is the best approach on the west side to get to Farnsworth. It's the Canyon just north of Bates Canyon. The Ridgeline is considered Kennecott property with plenty of no trespassing signs.
