Fry it up in peanut oil! If you we're on the coast, that would be considered a sport fish with a stingy size and bag limit. Plus, freshwater drum don't get spaghetti worms like black drum 👍
that is a sheaphead, alot of people dont eat them because the meat is more of a texture of steak then flakey. But if cooked properly can be good. Also fun fact they have rocks in their heads.... no joke
Did you know that people eat carp everywhere it is found except in the US? It is a prized game fish in Europe where the common carp originated. So prized in fact, they were brought to N. America by European emigres. Asian people catch and eat carp in the US as do others. Apparently, the white guy plans to eat the one shown. Have you ever tried it?
@@michaelmacgeorge1082 Yes. I smoked a couple young ones once. Tasted like ham to me. As long as i can catch crappie perch and walleye i have no desire to eat a carp.
@@fishintechnician6349 I smoked a lot of carp and I agree it tastes like ham. I prefer game fish for eating as well. The way things are going with grocery prices, people might need to consider carp.
