I like sony a lot, but what I considered when I was going to buy one was that 1- in general Sony gear is more expensive, 2-they usually do not update their products and just continue to launch new cameras, 3- The Zve1 does not have an internal fan, check reviews, It goes hot and stops recording for too long in 4k which is a problem I’ve never had with my s5iix even after 6 or seven hours in a caribbean climate. Hope this helps you make a good choice :)
Hi, I used both the 50mm 1.8 and the 20-60mm 3.5 kit lens. I shot everything on VLog. To be honest as you probably could see most of the magic is done in the color grading process.
Haha I dont leave comments often but great video. Doubtful was the right word! I hope i can speak ANY other language as well as you speak English 👌 Very useful video and adorable kids!
Love the warmth you are getting from some of these shots.... especially the closer up shot of the tree stump.... rich and satisfying. I am jarred though by the focus shift at the beginning of most clips.... Don't forget to go to manual mode and set focus with the subject inthe frame.... sometimes you just have to be smarter than the "smart focus". Subbed and thanks for a beautiful video.
Wow thanks for this mindful and lovely comment, appreciate it :). Oh yeah I noticed that focus shift when editing, hope that is something I keep in mind for the next ones. Thanks again :)
Wow the video quality is amazing from a smart phone. All the details on the white wedding dress and white shirt was well exposed. Very soon smart phone cameras will be a threat to professional once
You are right, I thought the same while I was editing, I was using the 20-60 3.5 kit lens to have a wider field of view, but I also have the 50 mil 1.8 which I can use for a more exhaustive test. There were definitely some things I did not test properly in regards to the autofocus in this video.
I believe autofocus (AF) has reached a level where the differences between major camera brands are minimal. These variations are likely in small percentages and aren't significant enough to be the sole deciding factor. For instance, the AF on my Nikon ZF is superior to that of the S5IIX, but I prefer the S5IIX due to its ergonomics, shutter angle, and open gate feature.
Totally agree with you, the competition is more even sort of speak and it’s more a matter of what additional features and budget one is looking for. That is why I chose this one, according to the hundreds of videos I watched this offered the best value for the money in general
Nope. The thing with autofocus is, that only great autofocus is useable in video. If it doesn't work we'll, it ruins shots and you should just manual focus and forget the AF. Sony is king, Canon, Nikon, new Panasonic's. But can the S5IIX be trusted? Fuji AF is horrendous.
I would lie and say I haven't used 4k or up but I would be extremely happy just using this beast in super 35 crop mode in 1080 pro res. With the sensor focused in like that you get a very stable image. 1080 offers this nice pallet of creaminess with the right amount of sharpness. Shoot like that and watch your end products age like fine wine.
I didn't that word XD I want it to try someday the Iphone just to test performance like: running games, watching videos and the most the battery, I think that's the only feature that keep me off about Iphone the battery, have you consider the google pixel 7 pro? They have amazing camera and software to process the photos
Yes, definitely iPhones are one of the best phones out there, the battery is only good on the MAX versions. I haven't tried Google phones yet but will see what this year brings.
