To all who come to this happy channel, welcome. Here you can find videos showing side by side animated Disney characters and the talented voice actors that give them life, allowing you to get a glimpse into how a Disney movie is made. However that doesn't mean I don't sometimes post other stuff for fun ;).
Quast as Javert is one of those performances that helped shape my love for musical theatre. Norm Lewis did a phenomenal job as well (I got to attend the 25th anniversary irl). Those two are my favorite. 1st Philip Quast. 2nd Norm Lewis.
From Broadway Stars to Disney Voices; Susan Egan (Beauty and the Beast, later the voice of Megara in Hercules) Jason Raize (Lion King, later the voice of Denahi in Brother Bear) Idina Menzel (Wicked, later the voice of Elsa in Frozen)
I still, to this day, tear up when I hear Angela Lansbury sing that song. Me, my mom, my grandmother and my sister went to the movie theatre to see this when it came out on Thanksgiving day. I’m the only one who is still alive. Hearing this song, and seeing this movie takes me back to a time in my childhood when everything was perfect. It makes me happy and sad all at the same time. I really miss them.
It's kinda shocking that some people still don't know that Ashley Tisdale voiced Candace. I could've assumed that whenever Candace screams, people began to instantly knew that was Ashley's voice, it's literally no difference to how Sharpay screams 😂
I'm Brazilian. Pietro Mário, Brazilian Voice Of Rafiki, Died As Well Like Robert Guilliame, On August 31, 2020. Pietro Mário Voices Ping On Kung Fu Panda And The Narrator Of Yu Yu Yakusho.
Javert is my favorite character in all of literature and I can - and have - spoken for over an hour at a time about him and (despite my enduring and obsessive love of the musical since age six) how every adaptation takes so much away from his character. I understand - my first copy of the brick was exactly 1234 pages long. So much needs to get cut (abridgments cut all three of my favorite chapters) for even the miniseries. But he is the most human of them all, to me. I love Jean Valjean. I love Javert. And I will until I die.
Quest will forever and always be my favorite; it’s a testament to how good they all are that Lewis is only my third favorite; I have conflicted feelings about Ball because how can my Marius also be my Javert? So this is the best of…every world!
