@@Living_Our_Best_Life it’s a DJI Spark and I had no issues with the wind. There’s no issue getting it off the ship, I just keep my batteries and controller with me so I can charge them as security holds the drone in their custody while you’re on the ship. I just ask for it when I leave the ship. They flag drone users in their system so when I badge in and badge off the ship, it alerts them.
That’s why I never eat food on any private island, you never know how they handle the food during transportation from ship to island, besides the cold food.
Fabulous upload, TAP! Tonya, Alexis & Pete. I smashed that thumbs up marker on your content. Looking forward see more posts from you. Sustain the superb work.
Been this location it’s ok but Beach Walk Resort in Hallandale Beach Florida is way better and you’re close to Miami Beach and Hollywood Beach, Fort Lauderdale Beach, and the nightlife around it is better with all the lounges, bars and clubs.❤
Do you recall when made boarding pass appointment what was earliest? We are also platinum and Magic 2025 but flying in likely to Orlando to do a WDW two day as live on west coast and rental car one way and deciding where stay night prior. Thank you.
No I don’t but I think it’s in the 10:00-10:30 area. We didn’t need an early boarding appt time since we were driving that morning. That’s why I picked a lunch time boarding appt time.
Thanks for watching!!! A local called them. I guess everyone know everyone on that small island lol. So they called the company and they said they would send someone. So then several tour buses came to park near us and their drivers asked if we needed help. They took a look at the battery and just righted the battery terminal wires and it worked again.
Headed there in May 2024 , on the Carnival Celebration , just subscribe to your channel, thank you for your info ❤ I will be renting a golf cart to ride around the island.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! Glad we could be of some help. Renting a golf cart on GT is the best option for us since it’s such a small island.
I’ve seen a bunch of cruise but this was the best video I’ve seen with step by step directions on how to navigate the terminal. We will be sailing on the Magic in 11 days and this has surely helped. Nicely done.🛳️👍
Hi youtube.com/@TAPtonyalexisandpete, thanks for sharing this amazing video, it definitely helps to get a deeper insight on what to expect on this cruise excursion. I have a question for a couple of friends, if a person does not know swimming , according to your experience, how easy or difficult would it be to snorkel with life jackets on in this excursion? Couple of my friends (early 30s) are still on the fence to purchase this excursion as they don't know swimming and have never snorkeled in their life. Your insight would help them in a big way! Thank you for your time.
Great video! What was the process like to bring a drone on the ship, and to fly it over the island? Did you need special permissions or approvals before hand? Any issues with security leaving the US? Thanks!
Thanks for watching! I have a ton of other drone videos throughout our cruise videos as well if you're interested. If you turn the drone over to security at the start of the cruise, it's the easiest way to handle it. When they know about your drone, they flag your S&S card as having a drone so it alerts them every time you get on and off the ship. Every cruise I've been on with a drone, LAND security misses it/doesn't say anything, then SHIP security doesn't know about it until I tell them or get back on the ship at the first port. When you get to a port you want to fly it in, they scan your S&S card, it alerts them, they hand me the drone case and I go on my merry way. However, before handing the drone over to them in the beginning AND any other time for the rest of the cruise, I keep my batteries, chargers and anything in my case that needs to be charged so I can do so in my room overnight. From what I can tell, the security team on the ship do a great job of keeping it safe because I've never had a problem. They label my case with my name and room name. The end of the cruise makes me a little anxious, but every time I've gotten it as I walked off the ship with no problems. As far as flying it off the ship, I just do some research about the country/port that we're visit about their drone laws. I've only been able to fly it near the ship/port when its a Carnival owned property like Mahogany Bay, Costa Maya or Princess Cays. Most of the time I'm flying it far away from the port on some remote beach. But recently, we went to Curacao and they have strict drone laws, so I didn't even take it off the ship. I'm a pretty conservative drone operator and really don't want anyone to know its there, so I try to respect the people around me. Our last cruise over Thanksgiving 2023, security on land in Miami and security on Princess Cays missed it going through security, so they didn't know about it until our second port (not that I even attempt to fly it on the ship anyway)
I do not support these nosebleed towers built by developers who paid off the EPA to build on the coast without the barrier of 2 sets of sand dunes. THE locals being paid slave wages who cannot afford rent in the town they grew up in and work in get to foot the bill for beach renourishment due to beach erosion BECAUSE OF THIS. My beautiful hometown has been ruined by touris developers. Congratulations for contributung to the ghettos. Trump owns wyndam. Any surprise? Ya'll real estate people are selling STOLEN LAND. Disgusting. These high rise condos regularly stiff their cleaning staff by pretending not to speak English.
Thanks for watching! My guess is that you could easily go on the excursion and at least just stay on the boat. I’m just not sure about the snorkeling portion.
This was a good and informative video, thank you for sharing the info on the Red Shirt golf carts! We are thinking about possibly doing this for our next cruise in February. Do you have to refill the carts at a gas station or you can return it as is? Thanks.
Thanks for watching! We did not have to refill the golf cart with gas upon return. We just drove it back to the port and drove it right up to the hut and they gave us our deposit back. Couldn’t recommend this company enough in Costa Maya. Have fun!
Hi! Thank you for this video. It is extremely informative and helpful. Can you confirm whether or not your reservation was a one bedroom OR a one bedroom DELUXE? We stayed in the one bedroom deluxe four years ago and it had TWO bathrooms and the regular one bedrooms had only one bathroom as shown in your video. Thank you again for the great video!
Thanks for watching! I’m 99% sure ours was a deluxe 1 bedroom but I’ll check with my wife. All the 1 bedrooms on their website show as 1 bath too: clubwyndham.wyndhamdestinations.com/us/en/resorts/wyndham-hotels-resorts/united-states-of-america/florida/panama-city-beach/club-wyndham-panama-city-beach
Hi, i m so happy to see this Vidio, you know why, it s just because my daughter works in this Carnival Glory since 3 Months ago, i do really Miss her, her contract Will be end on march 2024
roast beef po boy, and muffalettas are fantastic. the balcony at Cornet was a great place to eat, and pralines are good, but basically pure sugar. Y'allmade me hungry. cant wait to go back!
Thanks for watching! At Lunas we spent about $10 for drinks. Tacos, guacamole and 2 margaritas at Camaroncito Carabeno was $22. And $14 at La Curvita for 3 plates of tacos and guacamole.
Kind of seems like with so much water splashing about at the bottom of the falls (and even above) it sort of obstructs your view. The colored lights are neat. Did you guys like the USA view or Canadian view better?
I hate when places have to chum to manufacture an experience. I wish they'd just go where those creatures live and do it naturally. I agree that stuffing too many people together ruins the experience. We have an upcoming cruise with a stop in Roatan but I don't see that the snorkeling there is anything special.
I agree, I could see chumming to get them to the site but this company kept chumming so the boat was swarmed and it was a huge mass of fish and sharks…. Thanks for watching!
Yes I brought it but, you don’t go through customs when you get off a cruise. US customs sees it go through security when we embark the ship and have never said anything to me about it. The problem I did have was the cruise security confiscating the drone when I boarded the ship because they want to ensure you don’t fly it from the ship. They flag your cruise id card and store it in a secure area so when you exit the ship, it alerts them that they have your drone and ask if you want it back to fly at that port of call. I would leave the drone in its case and they would hold it overnight, but take the batteries and charger with me to my room so they were charged for the next day. As far as flying it when I got off the ship, the areas I flew it were not crowded and I just try to do inconspicuously. Some ports don’t allow you to fly it right at the port, so only it take it off the ship when I know we’re going somewhere remote where no one will bother me. This video has a lot of drone footage right at the port. Again, I just picked a hidden place in the trees to fly it so it wasn’t obvious. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sIQeS0bEXio.html
