I just did it on multiple roofs today so it's still definitely working. Make sure you have a wall attached or very close to the roof you're trying to add the wallpaper on. Has to be on the exact edges of the roof's wooden part.
I'm on steam deck and can use controller buttons and toggle the mouse, but when i switch plots, it won't stay in edit mode. Is there a setting in not seeing?
in you video Solo detaching w/ cutting tool & ghosting method using a courtyard - Palia glitching I see that you have a Gazebo attached to your house. How did you do that?
You need 1 person/friend as a editor on your plot to do that one that I know of , just one move gazebo into place and other has to move the room to dot selected on the house takes some time to sync up timing with the other person though, you can't move the building or the glitch Wil break
Seems like they may have fixed it. If I try to move my room from one plot to the other it doesn't work, because it'll just deselect the room once I move to the other plot. It doesn't have anything to do with different plot background things, cause they're the same. Bc of it deselecting it'll attach back to the harvest house :(

Thank you so much. It works well and i tried the floors on roof and it works too. If anyone is wondering you need to have a pavilion close to angle the edge for it to catch on the roof or at least a front porch that uses flooring

Same, I want to learn how to do this so badly. I do know to change colors for items you need the green modification bags from Tish register and use the modification bench to change colors of items. I have been trying to get a curtain up on the new bay window and I am not able to do it on certain windows. I will be trying this technique today.

you can achieve that either by building out of bounds with the building blocks and decorating on top of the building blocks. as long as you connect the first building block part to the grid part of your plot, you can connect them going out of bounds. the other way to get decorations/furniture out of bounds would be with using the winterlights red presents as anchors.

I used the solo detach method with a cutting tool along with ghosting, but it could also be achieved simply with ghosting. just note that achieving it by ghosting alone will mean that you will need a harvest house on a secondary plot that the courtyard is technically still attached to - but it will appear standalone on your starting plot .
unfortunately not solo, but if you give someone editors permission, it can be done. you would have the friend grab the gazebo and then you switch plots and the friend will place it down.
i'd love a better explanation on how you did the small rooms!!!! i adore it!! but i cannot seem to figure out how you did it no matter how many times i watch this video lol
