I agree that song is so catchy and this game's celebration scene is also unique with sections like lifting trophy sections, other than this engine's FIFA games.
We could have had a similar story if Abbondanzieri was never injured in that QF against Germany and Pekerman never substituted the best ball player of the team in that 1-0 situation. These moves literally forced him to bring in Cruz a target man up front and completely destroyed the attacking threat of Argentina. Even Aimar could have done well as substitute of Riquelme but he chose Cambiasso a deep line midfielder for an attacking midfielder. Any sort of help for Tevez could have helped Argentina win that game after the equaliser. But he never got one. Anyway nice work brother. It's been almost 15 years since I last play these games. In football injuries happen and when it happens in critical match it can be determinant. But Klose's header was really hard to save. Also I agree that changing Crespo was risky move, after 1 minute of change Germany scored. Pékerman really played Aimar very few at World Cup, only 11 minutes in 2 group games, 44 minutes in last 16 round. Also And I think referees' choices impacted Argentina's game and they degraded offensively. With your interest and support, my joy is enlarging; thank you too 😊
Actually, I couldn't select my 23 men squad when playing with qualifiers, I can select my 18 player, then game randomly selects 5 other player. I should have select star players and players in form. This caused me to play with new game mode then I'm in same group Argentina had. I also placed Uruguay (3. At Qualifiers) to World Cup and excluded Australia. (Normally Oceania 1. and Conmebol 5. have a playoff match to place in World Cup 2006)
Hi, I think this engine's FIFA games (07, 08, 09, 10 in PC, as PS and Xbox had new engine) are my favourites, my reasons; 1- That was my childhood game. So i'm used to these games. 2- I think in new FIFA games physics don't really matter your players; in old ones you can use your players' strength, for instance with strong players you have more physically advantage in headers. 3- There isn't momentum in old FIFA games that make you lose or win, your playing matters in matches; in new ones if game wants a team to concede, one player breaks offside line that you don't control than there will an opportunity for goal. 4- Games' interface are simple and detailed. 5- Those games are playable with keyboard and more soothing for players who want to chill. I can suggest that you can play these games with manager modes and relive the history. It's very enjoyable.
Man you are a big fan of D'alessandro. You keep on playing him even though he was never part of Pekerman's plan. But I like the way you are making the last few games really interesting ❤
Actually, I like Argentine players equally 😄 In that real-life match, Ernesto Farías was in the first 11 but since he was not in the video game, I put D'Alessandro to first 11 because he was the first substitute (Messi's the other one). Also I'm glad that you are getting interested in series 😊

Since Argentina's qualifying phase started in 2003 and their coach at that time was different (Marcelo Bielsa), their squads and formation were different. With this, I used that squads with that formation (3-2-3-2) to make the series more realistic and enjoyable. I used most of the players you wrote, and since the others were very young in those years, I will use them in the following chapters and switch to José Pékerman's 4-4-2 diamond formation. Messi's time will come 😊
