Hey bro I was literally about to buy that $30,000 m135i in the carsales page on your vid. The lowered one with 33000km. Any tips? (Buying to use for a while)
Hey bro! They are an amazing car, with those km’s you won’t need to worry about much, the charge pipe can blow up at any second since it’s made of plastic, so upgrading it to an aluminium one is necessary.
It's overpriced. I paid $19,500aud for my fully optioned EWG M135i with 100,000kms about a month ago. The car market is terrible at the moment, you have alot more negotiating power than you realise. I know that exact car and it's been on carsales for months. I'd say something like that should be closer to $25-$26k assuming it has good service history (even though it's low KMs it should still be serviced every year). As the guy said, charge pipe will need replacing if it's the stock one. Valve cover and oil filter housing will inevitably leak oil, but they are cheap $50 seals and since they are on top of the engine it's only a few hours labour to fix. Other than these things, the M135i is very reliable especially with the ZF gearbox. It's insane how much value you get for the money with these cars. I recommend you buy an EWG (electronic wastegate) M135i (post July 2013 production date), it's much better than the old PWG (pneumatic wastegate) one. Most people don't know this the EWG version of the N55 has a forged crankshaft and connecting rods from the factory so you won't have to deal with rod bearing failure like the early M135i's did. It also makes ~15% more horsepower at the top of the range when tuned, the whole driving experience is different because the PWG one you can feel the power drop off super early.
@@wingman548 Cheers bro, you've certainly done your research on these. Do you reckon the one with 74000km for $22,222 is a better deal? And then possibly offer like $20k?
@@wingman548 could I dm you somehow? Want to know a bit about how to play this. I inspected that low km one, I got him down to 29k, I was thinking of doing a mechanical inspection just to make sure. But now thinking about it maybe it is a bit expensive... I was looking at a 335i from a dealer as well for $25,990 59000km but it had no service history! Walked away..
@@xlcaliber4959 I messaged the seller for the 74,000km one months ago. Because of the old gauge display it’s definitely got the old N55 PWG engine so I passed on it. I had to go down to Sydney and drive my M135i back because there were barely any good deals in QLD at the time
Hey man... great content !! What you are doing is something I wanted to do on the side for a very long time "like a side hustle - when I have free time". (Just scared to start maybe) Do you have any tips maybe. I am from south Africa. (Economy is screwed over here) What cars would you maybe recommend to start with. Cars that are really easy to work on and to learn? I don't know a lot and don't have experience but want to start somewhere.
Hey bro! Glad to hear you’re interested, click the FREE link in the description of this video, it will take you to my free community where there is all the answers you could ever need.
haha, i bought some interior cleaner & a brush which you can kinda see on the passenger seat in the beginning. didnt take much work but caught me off guard haha
I think if you can find stock del sol rims it can go for much more than if you were to sell it as is. Even basic 90s civic wheels will work, and they are rather common in junkyards Stock cars sell for much more than modified even if they look boring
Hey bro, I sold the car but in this case since the car is already modified the stock wheels wouldn’t make sense, if the car was stock then yes, the factory wheels would be better but since it already has all the suspension mods it wouldn’t work
great video bro. do you have any advise for flipping cars for someone in Canada? Also, Im just curious about how you are able to not get flagged for copyright infringement for the background music
hey bro ✌️the same principles would apply anywhere in the world when flipping cars since there will always be a demand for cars, my community gives a lot more in depth information not to sure on the beat not being copywrited haha
