Quickly gave up our corporate and construction jobs and everything we knew to Chase our dreams of living off-grid in Colorado Rocky Mountains. Been huge challenge at times but hard work and perseverance has reaped bigger rewards. We are outside alot and always working on projects. We want to share our experiences that we have up here at 9,200 ' in the Eastern San Juans. Please leave comments on the videos you like, we have so much more to add, Updates soon!
They look a bit thin after the winter, maybe they just shed some of their outer coat, but whatever pretty sure they'll fatten up this Spring and Summer.
Looks fantastic, great stone work. When your all gathered around the first fire and looking at the work you've done you can surely feel proud of your hard work.😊
I've seen some great summer elk herds along Stony Pass outside of Silverton but I guess when I'm concentrating on Conejos trout I don't look up enough to catch a rare glimpse of an elk. Headed back in late July and I'll scan the ridges better. Thanks for the wildlife and views!
I have not seen these types of herds on the Conejos side, I know they cross over from LaJar Reservoir side down to Conejos River, and up into Wilderness Area. These are on "our" side on Alamosa Canyon
