I’m 77 years old and I can finally French braid my hair. I still have the perfect the tightness and the placement but I can get it in a braid. Thank you.
Your tutorials are the only reason I know how to french braid! Your hand/finger placement is so specific which make it hard to get confused unlike other tutorials
It took me YEARS of ripping my hear out of frustration from failing to dutch braid into pigtails until I found your tutorial!! Thank you! from the bottom of my almost bald head🥹❤️
I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video! 😊 Never been able to do either Dutch or French braids, but after watching this just did two Dutch braids on either side of my head for the first time and it worked so well! ❤🎉
I was desperately looking for this video, it took me five minutes of scrolling after searching "ladder technique braid" and I thought ylu had removed it! This and the dutch braid one are such gems!
I'm over the moon. I watched you Dutch braid video and loved it your way is so easy and this is no different. I especially love the way you explain it. I have a mild form of cerebral palsy and my left hand has to in a way copy my right to get how move to do what I need and your videos help so much with practicing my brain hand eye coordination.
I really love the idea of the technique 🙂 but there's something I don't quite understand - when you move the strand to the top of the ladder, aren't you going over two strands rather than just the middle one in a regular braid? 🤔
I have never been able to french braid bc I don't know what to do with my fingers and they cramp up. With this method I got it on the first try! So helpful, thank you for posting!
23 .05. 2023 I have seen this video And I have tried and it came good and slowly slowly it will become v good I know . Earlier I used to try but I failed it to do and then I stop doing French braid though I love French braid so much .But watching this video I started doing so easy method thanks a lot for this helpful video. Now I can also do it
For me, this is impossible no matter how many times I try because I cannot keep my hair separated. The three strands I have all get partially combined in my fingers, and trying to grab and add even more hair into that just doesn't work. It gets tangled together. How am I supposed to keeo it seperate? Do I have to gel it first, or what?
Maybe someone here can help me.. I'm having trouble grabbing the strands from underneath like the ladder, because I cannot feel where the sections of strands are. It feels like it's all just 1 big strand in the back and I can't get my fingers through in the right way. Any tips?
I see so many comments of people having success but I guess I'll just have to accept I'll never be able to do this. I've been trying for years. My hair is about 2 feet long from my earlobes and I just can't do this without forming tangles the size of a silver dollar. 😭😭
IT FINALLY MAKES SENSE NOW!!! I knew what to do but not HOW to do it - I had no idea the finger positions mattered that much!!! I'm 26 and never had anyone to teach me - this changes everything!!!
Oh my gosh!!!! I've been trying and failing at French braiding my hair for 24 years!!!!! You made this so simple! Thank you to your mom for showing you and to you for sharing with us! So simple!!!
Everyone's saying it works, so I'm hopeful. The thing is, it looks like there are a lot of different pieces to hold and I always get confused as to which goes where after a while. Wish me luck, after I wash my hair I'm going to try it.
This technique is so simple I got it after 3 tries and it looked so good and so neat looking I have curly and medium length layered hair and it look so good on me like I can’t this video is a god send!😩✨
I tried your method. Unfortunately it doesn't work well for me. At first try I got lost in the middle then I got a tangle of things at the end because I cannot braid anymore when all the strands are gathered together. It was a mess and turned out worse than just using the normal method. French braid is hard when it gets to the bottom because it's not easy to make it tight when you do it for yourself. I prefer dutch braid. My hair is super silky and hard to grab so going under is easier than going over the strands. Bye, French braids.
