Thank you for your video, as it was very helpful. I cannot find a good video on maintenence of a Ford 2000. It looks similar to the 4610. Are the oil outlets and fill caps similar? If not, what advice can you give me for proper maintenance
So I have an 85 300. Similar noise, I took valve cover off and ran the engine. Found a rocker loose. Moved each cylinder to top of compression stroke and adjusted lifters to zero lash. Fixed the noise.
These are cheap, they’re not too bright either. They’ve got a clear coat on the lenses that has been peeling off since this video has been posted.. if you get aftermarket lights please spend the big bucks and get a quality pair!
Nice Video. I have a 1990 2810 that I am changing fluids on. Does it take 12 gallons total, or 12 in just the rear end hydraulics? I think the back and the transmission are connected and use the same fluid. Do you know if this is correct? thanks.
@@usa_dobson8967 have you have you adjusted the valves or anything? You can run the 300 without the valve cover at idle and loosen a rocker until to taps, and then tighten up until it stops
Is the max oil level for transmission the screw sticking out at 2:06 in the video, just over where is says DB? Or is it on the left side at 1:05, just above the brown/bronze wire? I know you have a dipstick right by the fill plug, but mine one only has a fill plug. My 4610 has a cabin and loader, so it's a bit different.
So what do i do if i can't get all the 7.5 gallons out ? Why is it so milky? Is it fluid? How did milk get in there ? Why don't they make it anymore and how to turbo it to make it cut faster ? Thanks again
@usa_dobson8967, did you? I couldn't hear you and my vid was about bitching on a defective car and I make vids to talk, not to act like a mechanic. What your showing is a joke. Any normal person that works on cars would know these things. Maybe speak louder next time so we can hear you, I need to know what I can do for my tractor cause it's milky
@@usa_dobson8967 It's not on its original engine judging by the kris cross design on the engine block. The kris cross engine was used in the Series 3 and also sold as replacement engine for earlier models. Original engine may have went porous.. Also if its an 1983 model.... It's a Series 1. Not a 2. The Series 2 was introduced in 1985 with the black bonnet decals..
My dad had a 4610 that was the second tractor I learned to drive and to make hay with great tractor but I miss the farm ,farm was sold about 12 years ago.
Thank you , I have a 3610 with a Ford 776 Loader , just got it from a guy whose dad bought it new .I m about to take on the full service . This was very helpful
Very Clean tractor. Good video. One improvement would be to Take a air hose or rag and clean the area around the fluid fill areas. keeping contaminants out of the hydraulic system is just as important as the quality of the oil.
Great tutorial!! I need your help with my 4610 & identifying a filter. I think it is for the 7209 front end loader. If you could help that would be awesome!!
Ever had a problem with hydraulic oil leaking out of the transmission fill plug. My ford3910 starts leaking out after about an hour of use. My fluids are not over full neither
Hi, I have a Komatsu D31S,Q-16 , serial number 28001. It looks very similar to yours, both my lifting and dumping cylinders are leaking. Could you please help me to find the kits to repair my cylinders. Thanks
@@thumper0203 From my knowledge the real noticeable difference would be interior quality. (Not enough difference to justify the price difference though).
